So, has anyone on here seen this production? If so, I'd like to hear thoughts.
If You Could Make a Musical...

AEA, terrific point. This is why I'll never be a director. XD

Anyway, back to the topic. I would love to see Rush's album, 2112 adapted for the stage. However, I am well aware that most people would think it's an awful idea. In fact, the band themselves probably wouldn't like the idea either. And for all I know someone has already tried this and failed.

Ah. I should research things. That makes me sad, though.

I've always wanted a Calvin & Hobbes musical. Starring NPH as Calvin and Roger Bart as Hobbes. Alas, I cannot write music.

Forgive me if this question has been answered numerous times, but do we know what Newsies will be performing?

I also liked "Lexington and 52nd Street." It deserved a spot on the album.
Best Score: Bonnie and Clyde VS. Newsies

Honestly, i'd be happy if either of them won. They're both fantastic scores. I can't really pick one over the other.

If someone else hasn't already taken it it before I have the money, I'll be all over that Carousel one.

I agree wholeheartedly.
Horror/Sci Fi/Generally Dark Musicals?
 Apr 30 2012, 07:14:05 PM
Well, there's Grail: The Rock Musical of The Future. They have a website where you can buy the album and sheet music. It's a strange one, though...
Should there be a Razzie type awards for Broadway shows?
 Apr 24 2012, 05:53:28 PM
Nah. I've never been a fan of the Razzies. I fail to see the point in such "awards."

Scarce has anything caused me to laugh as much as this thread has.
What's good?

I know many have no interest in it, but I think the revival of Harvey starring Jim Parsons has excellent potential. Keep an eye on that one.

I guess I should probably clarify that I only laughed audibly at the last one.

Oh, this is just wonderful.
Peter and the Starcatcher or Newsies?
 Apr 13 2012, 11:56:37 AM
Yea, I'd have to agree with everyone and say Peter and the Starcatcher. As much as I love Newsies, I think anyone who has the opportunity to see more than one show during their trip should make room for at least one straight play.
