OH, MARY! Previews
 Jul 16 2024, 11:01:25 AM

I am so excited to see this on our next trip in August and it’s only because of the genius schedule of Oh Mary. We see The Notebook Saturday matinee and had Tommy tickets til it closed so instead we are seeing Suffs at 8 pm but with a 5 pm Showtime we are able to see a rare 3 Show day.

Jimmy Awards tonight 6/24 at the Minskoff

I totally understand where you are coming from but the two students representing Broadway Dallas went to Cleburne High school and Tyler Legacy High School and both are public schools that emphasize football more than the Arts. And Damson Chola Jr from Cleburne which is near Ft Worth won. Sometimes talent is found in the unlikely places.

CABARET at the Kit Kat Club (2024) Opening Night Critics' Reviews
 Jun 3 2024, 09:05:55 AM

My sister and I saw the show Saturday night as I’d saved the prime time for this because I love Cabaret so much. Well to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I didn’t like it at all. I’m  all for Revivals taking liberty with the book and song arrangements but this Show did it and it didn’t work for me. Most of Sally’s songs were unrecognizable and I thought she screamed more than sang, and Eddie Redmayne was just ok but I compare him to Neil Patrick

BEN PLATT: LIVE AT THE PALACE Thread
 May 27 2024, 11:13:54 AM

We have tickets for Sunday matinee.
we arrive tomorrow from East Texas for our nine show May/June trip. I love Ben Platt and I’ve seen him in DEH and Parade plus his two previous tours. I’m wondering who his “ guest’s” will be for each performance.

Ben Platt was Miscast as Leo Frank
 May 27 2023, 11:26:41 PM

I 100% disagree I just got out of the show and Ben was perfect in the role IMHO. It was an amazing performance by him and the entire cast I can’t imagine anyone else in the role. But I am a huge Ben Platt fan so there’s that 😇

I need help replacing The Inheritance
 Feb 21 2020, 04:46:33 PM

Well, decision made and tickets bought. We decided to forgo seeing Beetlejiuce as it will tour to Dallas soon. That left us so we could see both The Lehman Trilogy which my sister was interested in and Flying Over Sunset . They won't replace the Inheritance in my heart but should still be great alternatives. Thanks for all the advice and help.

Ok now that The Inheritance is closing before our May trip,it leaves me with both Saturday matinee and evening slots to fill. My sister and I have decided to bite the bullet and see Beetlejuice in the matinee slot. That leaves Saturday night. My first thought was to see Flying Over Sunset because Ive heard good things but it was not a "must see" for me when I was choosing the 16 shows for this trip.I now have added The Lehman Trilogy, American Buffalo, The Hangman, and  Sing Stre

I am still praying it will be open til at least the Tony;s I have tickets for May 23. It was the first show I put on my list for our May trip and I saved my coveted Saturday spot  for both parts. We have 14  shows scheduled with 2 Mondays still available. I don't even  have anything I;d want to replace The Inheritance.
