re: Rent vs. Spring Awakening

I didn't really care for either.
BUT! I would go see Spring Awakening because then you would have seen the "hottest show on Broadway"

Stage Seating. Yay or Nay?
 Aug 6 2007, 02:44:49 PM

I've never done it and I don't plan on sitting on stage.
My biggest problem with stage seating is I think it ruins the whole illusion that what you are seeing is real. As soon as someone sitting on stage moves you are distracted and are reminded that what you are seeing is just a show.
If that even makes sense.

Thoughts?

re: Does Where You Sit Matter?
 Aug 5 2007, 03:09:00 PM
I can't sit beyond maybe the first maybe nine or ten rows in the orchestra and the first five or six rows up in the mezzanine and I'm only 14.

This show was amazing.
Maybe a little underrated.
