Recommendations for Broadway in January
 Oct 17 2010, 04:40:03 PM
Am heading with three friends to NYC in Jan and want to take in at least 1 show - we want something frothy and fun and not too heavy (not Mamma Mia) Any recommendations?
Q about Naked Boys Singing
 Aug 30 2009, 05:25:03 AM
I'm back in NYC in 4 weeks and was thinking of taking my friends to see something slightly different. I have a few concerns about the nudity - is it tastefully done or is it just plain nudity and is the current cast any good?

Cheers

Sasha Allen was Sasha Fierce!! She ripped up Aquarius and her crazy riffs during Let The Sunshine in were faultless - Caissie Levy is wonderful as Sheila - I can't wait to go back and see it again in October in NYC!!
MY NYC SHOW REVIEWS

Hey there - just back from an exhausting week in NYC - I'm back in October to see Kylie Minogue but had a theatre week of heaven!

5/27 - 9 TO 5 - Loved it, Stephanie Block and Marc Kudisch really stood out for me. Get Out and Stay Out was amazing as was the fantasy sequence, this show put it's money where it's mouth was. Real high gloss! Megan Hilty has her Dolly routine down to a fine art and Allison Janney still has a hint of CJ Cregg in her as Violet which is no bad thing!

re: Hair Stage Door Experiences?

Thanks for the advice, I'm super excited to see the show and hopefully get some cracking seats and then meet a few of the cast afterwards at stage door, especially Allison and Gavin! I stagedoored at Xanadu and Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson were fab and from seeing the snippets of The Tribe on youtube and the Hair website, I can't wait to tell them how fab they are and fawn over them like a crazy teenager, even though I'm 30!!
Hair Stage Door Experiences?

Hey there

Anyone got some great stories from the stage door at Hair? I'd love to see Allison Case, Will Swenson and Gavin Creel - they seem so fabulous. Do the Tribe members take their time with stage door? I'd love to get my Playbill signed when i go!

Advice for musicals at end of May required!
 Apr 25 2009, 09:31:55 AM
Hey everyone

I'me heading over from the UK with some friends at the end of May and planning in taking in some musicals (at least 3/4). I was thinking definitely of Hair and 9 to 5. Are there any other must sees on Broadway that anyone could recommend?

I had looked at Next to Normal but a bit worried it would be too depressing - any advice or help appreciated!!

Thanks

Ooohh my jetlag is catching up with me!!!

Sheila was played by Pamela Jordan - she seemed a bit flat during At The Ballet but she acted her pants off.

4 SHOW REVIEW XANADU/CHORUS/WICKED/YF

Just back from NYC where I had a marathon of shows....

Saw Xanadu which was unbelievable - walked out and met Mary Testa, Jackie Hoffman and the delightful Kerry Butler who was SUPER NICE, Cheyenne Jackson was a dreamboat both in the show and in person - Unbelievably Brilliant Show. Andre Ward is outrageous and the quick banter and sharp lines made me want to see it twice - so I did!!

Next up was A Chorus Line. I grew up listening to the soundtrack. Was disappointed Deeidre wa

Shows In January
 Dec 16 2007, 09:36:48 AM
Hi there

I'm heading to NYC on the 1st Jan(to miss the craziness of Hogamanay) from Scotland. Have tickets for the Friday after New Year for Wicked but have held off buying for Xanadu and Chorus Line. Will it be easy enough to buy decent orchestra seats for those shows the first week in January

Also anyone know if Cheyenne Jackson or Kerry Butler will be out that week??

Cheers
Cassie
