They did Aquarius and Let the Sun Shine In. I'm not crazy about the musical or Will Swenson's hamminess, but they were definitely energetic on the show. Sasha Allen was, as usual, terrific on Aquarius and, except for a high-pitched, off-key singer on Let the Sun Shine In, the cast was fine. As usual, the into-the-audience stampede followed but it wasn't overkill and the entire performance was definitely a plus for the show.
I loved it-nothing about it seemed off to me. I still haven't seen the show but I'm dying to!
And as usual, we can't take our eyes off Allison Case even when she's not singing.

Still no video up yet
Sadness.
I'm also waiting for the video. I want to see it soo bad!
they did great! I think it was whoopi golberg who did that high picthed off-key note. They turned off who might though. But all around it was amazing. Sasha Allen, Allison Case. woohoo!

OMG you're awesome. THANK YOU!!
Anthony Hollock...you are the most precious thing ever.
It wasn't Whoopi. It was in the "answer for Timothy Leary dearie" part. She wasn't terribly off-pitch but she sang the high-harmony and it was noticeable. It's a minor quibble, though. That cast performed with so much energy and enthusiasm it was infectious. It was also VERY musical. Much better than what you usually get for a one-shot TV performance.
Thanks so much for posting the link! I forgot to record it on TV, but am glad it's online already.
The performance was great, as usual. I loved how Kacie got next to Elizabeth with their two baby bumbs, that was cute (although I cannot stand Elizabeth...).
thank you!!
I think these daytime TV performances are great for Broadway. They bring the new shows to an audience that may otherwise not be exposed to Broadway.

Thanks for the You tube link!!! The show is AWESOME; I've seen it three times and can't wait to see it again and again! The cast is totally AMAZING.
What a great performance. Put a huge smile on my face.
Is it me or has Hair had WAAY more of these appearances than other shows? Anyone know whether they have to be invited or do the producers approach the shows?
I was just going to post that. I can't think of a show that has done NEARLY this much publicity. Alot of it is I think a passionate young cast doing many volunteer gigs (aka Gavin's Broadway Impact and the upcoming Equality gig in DC)

I know that Whoopi saw the show and invited the cast to come and perform.

Sasha Allen was Sasha Fierce!! She ripped up Aquarius and her crazy riffs during Let The Sunshine in were faultless - Caissie Levy is wonderful as Sheila - I can't wait to go back and see it again in October in NYC!!
