Sunday Night Show?

This is helpful, thanks Jordan. :)

I was going to say "wait a month and see if anything else is announced for spring" but the season feels pretty set at the moment with the possible exception of something slipping into Studio 54.

Thanks Jordan! I never thought about that. :) I usually scroll and open and close dozens of screens in Telecharge. I recently discovered the ability on Broadway.com to search by date, and I will be sure to try TodayTix. I always have this peculiar worry that &quo

Sunday Night Show?
 Feb 8 2025, 06:46:20 PM

Hi friends,

Looking for a show suggestion for the evening of Sunday, April 27th.   I’ve seen the following shows that are playing that night:  The Book of Mormon, Little Shop, & Juliet.  I can’t decide between:  SIX, Titanique, and Drag the Musical.  Of those three, what do you recommend?  Also, is there another show that night, that you’d recommend, that I’m not aware of?

Audra McDonald-led GYPSY for 2024-2025 Season!

Tickets are available for purchase until the end of June 2025.  I infer that Audra is currently contracted until this date, at minimum. I ask, because I can make the journey down in January or April (preferably). Thoughts?

What is the worst production you have ever seen on Broadway? What is the worst show?
 May 18 2024, 11:15:07 AM

I’ve seen a fair number of shows over the past twenty years.  The following productions rank on the bottom of my list:  Cinderella, Fiddler on the Roof (most recent revival), and Something Rotten.  But, that is coming from someone who ranks Ghost (which lasted less than four months) as one of my top favourites. :)

Thanks Edsoslo! Gosh, I loved that show. Two weeks later, and it's the only one I still think about, of the five I saw. I hope to see it again, when I come back to the city, fall or early January (if they extend).

Thank you everyone. Genuinely, I began this thread, because I wondered if I was alone or if others could relate.  To be clear, I never felt anxious, but stressed.  :)

It disrupts no one and I’m not spending idle time sitting with my long legs."

I sympathize, Matty--I'm 6'2".

I also don't feel need to get to the theater early. And even when I do, I usually strike up some conversations with others in line. Actually had coffee last week AFTER a show with a lovely couple we met waiting to go in. (Long story, but it was delightful.) No

Hi all,

I just returned home—caught a handful of shows, including: Cabaret, The Great Gatsby, Tommy, Back to the Future, and The Notebook.

I’ve been increasingly feeling this, in recent years, and wondered if others could relate.  I find the process of arriving to the theatre, straight through to sitting in my seat, stressful.

First, we are lined up.  At the 30 minute mark, we are yelled at from a megaphone at a foot distance from our ears,&nbs

Unrelated, but...

I was there the night before, and watched the cast bring audience members up onto the stage, at the top of Act 2, to dance.  One audience member slopped her drink all over the stage (understandability). As the official performance began, stage hands were on the stage,

Saw yesterday's matinee.

This show is the definition of decadence.

The costumes, scenery, and lighting are breathtaking.

Jeremy Jordan's voice has never sounded better--it soars.

My GOD, Eva is gorgeous. Her acting is so nuanced. Her voice is crystal clear.

Samantha Pauley is a STAR --I could not take my eyes off her, even when the full cast is on stage, and a bazillion things are happening.

I really enjoyed the c

You're sweet, Dramamama.

I make it down to NYC from Atlanta Canada, once a year, so I rely on these boards to inform my choices.

I'm set to see, this coming week: Cabaret, The Great Gatsby, Tommy, Back to the Future, and The Notebook.

I have restaurants booked, museums and attractions of interest noted, etc.

Thank you all!
