Molly Shannon
 Dec 1 2010, 07:48:21 PM
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Molly Shannon. I didn't get to see Katie so in terms of performance comparison, I have nothing but I do love everything about Molly and thought Molly sounded better than Katie. I even got to meet Molly at the stage door afterwards and that was very exciting. Interestingly, I had a flip camera and was recording her but the stage door manager asked me to turn it off which I thought was strange. No, that isn't my youtube video though she is just as sweet and nice on the copy

"I've never really understood the hysteria around the stagedoor thing - why can't people just enjoy the play/musical and then go on to dinner/drinks/disco etc.? Don't they realise that their ticket price doesn't actually include meeting the star(s)/getting photos/autographs?

Just tonight I was attending a showing at the London Film Festival in the company of Tom Ford, Colin Firth, Sir Ben Kingsley, et al. I got to walk down the red carpet and got a few comments from the 'public' and ev

re: What Did You Get at the BCEFA Broadway Flea Market?

I loved, loved, loved this! Yes, it was a zoo and was incredibly hot and crowded but it was an experience I will never forget. I only did the celebrity autograph line and photo booth so I missed out on the tables and flea market. I got through each autograph session of the day so I have a ton of autographs and pictures with Jonathan Groff, Robert Newman and Marj Dusay (who I was so thrilled to meet because I was a fan of Guiding Light for many years). I only spent about $125 but had budgeted

Thanks again. I also found this thread that is helpful http://broadwayworld.com/board/readmessage.cfm?thread=1003730&boardname=bway&boardid=1.

Can't wait, this will be so much fun.

Thanks so much for this info. That's good that it's per group and not per person, I think $25 is reasonable for the group though I do agree if you only want one or two, it might seem unreasonable. Are the lines difficult to get through? I mean, if the autograph table starts at 11 and you are real far back in the line, can you still get up there in time to get to meet the celebrities?

re: the celebrity table--
On the site, it just says that it is by donations. Do you pay individually for each actor's autograph? Is there one donation for the entire group's autographs? If I want to go to each session, how much money should I expect to spend? There are a few people in each group that I'd love to have their autograph but not sure if its worth paying for the whole group or if I could just pay each individual. Thanks for your help, this thread has been very helpful!

Are you single-handedly trying to destroy Cry Baby? sheesh. I, for one, disagree with your thoughts about Cry Baby. I'd see it again and again-- absolutely entertaining!
