Hey there.....I'm the music director for the new version of Two by Two at the Cumberland County Playhouse (www.ccplayhouse.com) and the rewrite is fantastic. The new song (40 Nights) is actually an old song that was written for the original but was removed at Danny Kaye's insistance. There are several wonderful articles about the revival at these links..... http://www.broadwaytovegas.com/November7,2004.html http://www.playbill.com/news/article/89405.html --Ron

Ponine, I know several people who have had problems with the video feed on that website. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player installed. Even then, I had to click on play, then right click on the window itself and click on play from the popup menu that comes up. --Ron

I'm excited about the Opposite of Sex musical because I'm a big fan of the movie. Very funny and smart writing, but of course, I'm worried about what the music will be like..... Ron www.ccplayhouse.com

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister was made into a Disney Made for TV movie I believe....maybe about 3 years ago? I didn't see it but heard about it. A quick Google search came up with this link.... http://entertainment.msn.com/movies/movie.aspx?m=526796

CCP's Beauty and the Beast video article Aug 9

Hey guys and gals.... One of the local television stations came to the Cumberland County Playhouse and did an interview and shot some footage of our show and interviewed Holly O'Brien who plays our Belle. Here's the link!! http://www.wbir.com/style/style.aspx?storyid=19153 Oh, just wanted to add...I had problems viewing the video when I first clicked on their website. I got it to work by clicking on play below the video window, then right-clicking on the window itself and choosing play from the pop-up. re: Highest note ever sung by a male in a musical? Jul 19

This isn't exactly Broadway but... in the Disney movie Hunchback of Notre Dame, in the opening song sung by, oh I can't remember the character's name, his last note is a D an octave and one note above middle C. And it's sung full-voice, not falsetto.

I don't really know....music is more in my line of expertise, so I don't know for sure. We have had the production design documents and costume design stuff forever, since early this year, and no one has said anything at all about it to me at least. Oh, and we made all of the costumes in house.

Hey guys.... I'm the music director for the Cumberland County Playhouse production of Beauty and the Beast and here's a link to production photos of our show. We were the first regional theater in the world to premiere Beauty and the Beast (I know that another theater opened Beauty a week after we did). Performing this show is such a wonderful experience each and every time!
