Annie officially takes the Palace May 22

Roseanne did do that Wizard of OZ tour for a while, so she obviously isn't opposed to the idea of theatre. And, I think you're right "random person", she is probably a better singer than she was in the anthem debacle. I just saw this clip of Sarah Silverman with Seth Rudetsky that made me push her towards the top of my list as possibilities.

Annie officially takes the Palace May 22

I feel like chiming in. Considerring the timing of the announcement (if it is in fact soon), I am guessing it's someone whose involvement was pending the announcement of the next TV season, which just completed last week. Some possible Hannigan's I can think of that had TV shows in the mix for next Fall that are now free (and some other ideas) are as follows: Kristin Chenoweth (not my choice, but I could see it happening) Roseanne (pending her Presidential candidacy, of course)

The HANDS ON A HARDBODY musical... May 12

I didn't know Norbert was ever a part of it, but actually thought about how perfect he'd be for it a few times during the show. Hunter is very good though.

Word is that it was an aerialist, so I am guessing it is not Reeve, but a sort of "stunt" performer.

RENT at Hollywood Bowl (REVIEWS) Aug 10
2010, 05:26:22 PM
I think there would have definitely been some major changes. I just can't see a production meeting where someone wouldn't say "So, Jon, about that ending? Can't we just kill Mimi?" I mean, Roger has his closure with the song, she apologizes about Benny, and she is REALLY sick. I have always imagined that even when she lives, she would die in the next scene if there was one! It's not like she is suddenly AIDS free!!! LOL. I don't know. I just think he would have seen it for the clunker it is befo

Wanda Sykes to play Miss Hannigan? Aug 10
2010, 05:18:56 PM
@Almira I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of Wanda Sykes being blackmailed in to playing Miss Hanigan in Annie! Haha. Bookie: "Wanda, you'd better make good on your bet or ypu'll be playing Hannigan in Pennsylvania." Sykes: "Well, I guess I'm playing Hanigan." Bookie: "Why I oughta!" Joking aside, I have a feeling shes gonna be brilliant and wouldn't be surprised if she is now considered for the BWay company.

RENT at Hollywood Bowl (REVIEWS) Aug 10
2010, 05:14:34 PM
First of all, thanks for taking the time to read my blog, those who did. @Dame - The reference to "sold out" came from the conversations I had with the PR lady from LA Phil who provided us 2 pairs of tickets to give away at Musical Mondays in LA. Outside of that, I did not check my facts, so I apologize. I did, however, say that there were over 50,000 people there, not that there were over 52,000 people there, which would be the capacity. As far as the "would Larson have let
