Not being a musician, I didn't know there was a difference and curious how it sounds.  Learned something new.

Last time I checked, Hills/Calif was next door, not across the street.  

I'd to go it.  He had a great comic streak with Norm Lewis at Norm's 54 Below show.  Had tickets to "Three Summers of Lincoln" in San Diego, but box office announced he "withdrew for personal reasons.'  

Now that Brian Stokes has withdrawn from the LaJolla, Playhouse  production of "Lincoln" musical, any word he might be doing something in NYC instead?

Gypsy was not among list.  Can only imagine the review.

Saw it first night and Dec 5 when it ran till 11pm.  By 10:45p, noticed folks around me constantly looking at their watch.

Bway Cares once told me they don't ask shows in previews to take on a major poster sign. Unsure if that will change.

Regarding Downey signing Playbills, perhaps the Vivian B theater should post this at the stage door:  "If an Emmy winner has to beg for Downey's signature, you don't stand a chance!"

Today, NY Daily News praised Mia's performance but not "dated script."  

"...But The Ferryman and Jerusalem, it is not."

Agree...especially the unnecessary chain smoking that created a distraction and discomfort on the increasingly coughing audience.  Counted Laura lighting 5 in last 10-15 mins.   The smelly smoky haze went ceiling-bound as it permeated theater.

I love the Mendes/Butterworth/Donnelly combo. Saw Ferryman 9 times. Disappointed I have to choose between breathing comfortably and the show.

Presumed theater district was like NYC with similar use of subways for off-Bway fare or off-West End . Asked folks here because they go to shows there. Rick Stevens' forums?  Unfamiliar.

 

 

Any suggestions for hotels near West End theaters?

If Mia and Patti were the only 2 Tony nominated for best actress, who would win?  I'm thinking Mia. 

Any updates to whether Brody is still missing a lot of shows?  I want to see it again, but I'd like to see him in it.
