Next to Normal/Rock of Ages Lottery

both shows are great. save your lottery money and go to both. the rock of ages seats are in the mezz now...since they've added plasma screens at stage level. now those on the sides in the orchestra can see what's going on when sight-lines get wonky...
the rock of ages lottery is nothing if not professional and organized. show up 2 hours before the show. put your name in. wait 30 minutes. get lucky. pay your $26.50 in cash. simple as that.
good choices. both rock.

I love "bare". I could care less if anyone thinks it's "a bore". To me, the score soars, the lyrics punch you in the gut, and the characters are totally multifaceted. We all went to High School. No, we were not all in the closet, a jock, the fat girl, the princess at the rave, the Mom, or the catholic priest...but we all knew a few.

Adam Lambert auditioned for the role of Stacee Jaxx in Los Angeles before he exploded on Idol. He wasn't right for the show then...isn't right now.
Constantine is an awesome Drew. Jeremy Jordan was very, very good too...
Maybe some new Talent will appear outta nowhere and blow it up...Mr. Maroulis has always deserved more credit for both his vocals and acting chops in Rock of Ages...makes it look easy.

Kelli Barrett was fabulous...gorgeous. Amy Spanger had the right amount of sass/comedy/timing...and really brought the funny...set the bar. made Constantine, who's always great, even better...Savannah Wise was brilliant...Kerry Butler was a total pro...the show was lucky to have her & all the covers have been quite strong........however.........

I saw Rock of Ages a few months ago when we were in the city and Jeremy Jordan was in for Constantine that Sunday. He was great. Then I took my Mom to West Side Story for her birthday, and there he was again. Pretty awesome. She's planning another fall trip and is a huge Idol fan. Constantine's leaving and Jeremy Jordan's taking over permanently?
