According to this Playbill.com Article, Constantine extended his ROA contract through the Summer of 2010.
Though it is unclear if he will extend his contract further (I doubt it), the purpose of this thread is to list possible replacement ideas for when Constantine leaves ROA

Adam Lambert has no reason to come back to Broadway right now, no less as a replacement in a show like Rock of Ages.
He has many, many options right now, whether they be film or some ridiculously extravagant concert tour. He doesn't seem too interested in returning to the theatrical roots that he doesn't seem to be too thrilled about in the first place.

Adam Lambert auditioned for the role of Stacee Jaxx in Los Angeles before he exploded on Idol. He wasn't right for the show then...isn't right now.
Constantine is an awesome Drew. Jeremy Jordan was very, very good too...
Maybe some new Talent will appear outta nowhere and blow it up...Mr. Maroulis has always deserved more credit for both his vocals and acting chops in Rock of Ages...makes it look easy.

Constantine will be hard to replace- he's perfect for the role.

he's leaving next month.

Please not Adam Lambert. He would not be believable in the role.
I can't imagine anyone else playing the role, but soon, the Toronto version starts. Now there is going to be an Australian version. I'd like to see how the Drews take on the role.
Who knows Constantine may extend. It's a great role.

Posted: 2/16/10 at 5:57pmMy vote goes to Liam Tamne. He is currently playing Link Larkin in Hairspray in London's West End. I've seen him sing a few songs and he has an incredible range, he would bring the house down. Love Constantine though xx
