Sunset Ticket

Then why doesn't it say "after" or "from"?  Within 60 days "of" the event means 60 days before it happens to me.

Sunset Ticket

It's nothing I've ever purchased, because I can imagine the hoops you need to jump through to get a credit.  But while buying tickets today for next week I clicked on the terms link and saw the following -

"Refund requests must be submitted online at www.ticket-refunds.com within sixty (60) days of the scheduled date and time of the event (as stated on the applicable tickets).  Any requests received after this deadline will not be eligible for a refund."

So anyone who doesn't click on the link and read all the terms can (and very likely many have) purchase insurance that is unusable because their performance is less than 60 days away.  Like me.

Sounds like a class action suit waiting to happen.

Shit. Meet. Fan. Oct 22 Cancelled Performance. Help!!!

Nov 4, 2024 — 9:40:59 AM

Ok I bought a pair of tickets on Stubhub, which I never do.  The show was cancelled and now they are refusing to credit me back unless I can prove it never went on. Anyone happen to have the email from MCC that went out to buyers? They have not responded to an email request.

SOMEONE SPECTACULAR @Signature

I agree. But the play is written by Domenica Feraud.  Tatiana directed.  Domenica's last play there was pretty spectaular as well.

What is the worst production you have ever seen on Broadway? What is the worst show?

1975. The Ambassador Theater.  I am 10 years old and a friend and I pick "We Interrupt This Program" at TKTS.

A group of black militants with machine guns invade the stage during a drawing room comedy and take the audience hostage for an excruciating 90 minutes of (even by mid-70's standards) racist tropes and bad acting.

It closed a day later after only a week of performances.  A show that made "Moose Murders" seem like

Sondheim's "Borrowed" Lyric

Good point.  But would a play opening in September '34 quote a book published that same year? I suppose it's possible.

Sondheim's "Borrowed" Lyric

Reading Jean Rhys' brilliant novel "Voyage in the Dark, published in 1934, and came across this passage -

"You bet I do," Maudie said.  "Here's to us.  Who's like us?  Damned few."

Has he ever cited this reference?  Has it been noted before?  Does it matter?

Kings Casting

Is it strange that there's been no notice?  After Dry Powder, and with Thomas Kail directing, I'm surprised we haven't heard those kind of TV/movie star names attached.  Previews begin in a few weeks.
