re: re: Onstage mishaps.

Jul 14, 2003 — 10:34:38 AM

During Phantom, I saw the boat went out of control and Michael had to jump out with Sarah Brightman and it hit Michael in the leg.

I donot agree with ALW choices for this movie and I am sorry but I willnot support it. It is going to be a bigger flop than DOTV and I wish that didnot happen but has they said in Phantom these things do happen and couldn't they leave a fine show like Phantom alone it won Tonys for God Sake they had to make changes.

re: re: That Film with That Streisand Woman!!!!!

Jun 23, 2003 — 12:20:07 AM

OH come on now!!! The movie version of Hello Dolly wasnot that bad. I will take Barbra Streisand over that dimpy Carol Channing anytime. And Crawford was ok. Sorry Dollypop I liked it.

I agree with Dotti, Michael still has what it takes and I only wish I can look that good at 61. And his voice has improved. I love michael always have and always will. So please keep the nasty bloody comments to yourself please, broadwayguy2 some of us enjoy Michael Crawford!!!! Give him the credit he deserves.

re: re: re: re: Nobody knows

Jun 20, 2003 — 9:22:08 PM

Ok I have had it just because your 61 doesnot mean your dieing godforbid. Look at Barry Manilow same age as michael and still going strong so is Michael I didnot think he is really to hang up his red boots yet or mask. And Barry is going to Broadway in Harmony. These guys have more engry than I do. so don't put down michael! About a CD havenot heard anything but something is in the works. CD would be good or a musical. I loved Michael since he was 19 so sue me.And give him credit he does a lot f

I saw Dracula with Frank Langella twice at the Martin Beck the second time we sat in the beautiful box seats right over the stage it is a beautiful theatre. And a fond memory.

re: re: Shows You Walked Out On

Jun 8, 2003 — 10:32:49 AM

So you walk out on Dance of the Vampires? obviously not a crawford fan. Ok the show was not that great corney, but I would not walk out on any play. It is rude to the actors. I even sat sick during Phantom and that was a great musical with Michael but the AC broke in the Majestic and we were all sick from the heat it was July and hot.

re: BELLY ACHING?

Jun 4, 2003 — 9:50:27 AM

I agree with ChristineDaae, I want Michael C he started the role as Phantom I just can't see anyone else. And stop making fun of him.

re: re: re: re: Richard Chamberlain

Jun 3, 2003 — 9:53:24 AM

No big news I knew Richard Chamberlain was gay all the time for him now to come out of the closet at 70 no big news. But he had to keep it hidden when he did Dr Kildare in the 60's he wouldnot be able to get a job. I was at the opening at radio city for the slipper and the rose what a movie and he has a nice voice, but the best was the Thornbirds that movie filled me with tears.

re: re: re: NO LITTLE SHOP!

Jun 3, 2003 — 9:47:58 AM

Broadway is suffering it is the ecomony the producers just don't have the money for a big show, and there is lack of good material to do a show. I see a lot of empty theatre's in the future.Profile for Batty | BroadwayWorld Message Board

re: re: re: re: re: Phantom Movie

May 31, 2003 — 4:48:56 PM

And I agree with ISSAME. It doesnot matter to me what age Michael is .I like him cause he is Michael a sweet and lovely person I had letters from him when he did Phantom. And he does a lot for sick children some with Cancer I say God Bless him.

re: re: re: re: Phantom Movie

To Dollypop, and BroadwayGuy2 , I don't like your rude remarks about Michael. You both have him in the coffin dead already God forbid... Michael waistline well he is not fat he may have put on a couple of pounds so what , he was so skinny as a child. You two probably didnot see DOTV Michael still has what it takes and the engry so big deal he is 61. You two were just plain rude.

Phantom Movie!!!!

May 30, 2003 — 9:31:21 AM

I will not go repeat Not go!!! to see this movie. The Gall that Andrew LLoyd Webber said Michael C. is too old to play the role. First of all The Phantom is supposed to be old. And Michael ok he is 61 has more engry than these young actors and he is still sexy look at DOTV. Sorry all I disagreed when this all started.
