#1Monday night choices.... updated question

Thanks to the majority's advice here, and also seeing Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen on Seth Meyers, I decided to grab one of the remaining tickets for Maybe, Happy Ending on Monday night — right orchestra, J8. It and others nearby got great reviews on A View From My Seat. Paid $216, which I don't love, but one or two rows closer it was c. $340. (Uggghhh)
New question: Because I come up from DC and have to plan ahead, I almost always buy tickets in advance, I haven't used TKTS for years. But I'm thinking of stopping there tomorrow for a ticket to Tuesday's matinee of Sunset Boulevard, which still has plenty of seats available.
Can anyone tell me what kind of discount I can expect there? I'd be looking for center orchestra or center mezz seats that are selling on Seat Geek for $149-$299 for the Dec. 24 performance.
Thanks for any guidance!
Coming up for a quick overnight on Monday and planning on seeing the Tuesday matinee of Sunset Boulevard. Monday night, I'm going back and forth among Gypsy, Death Becomes Her and Maybe Happy Ending.
I'll be back up to see shows again later in January or February, but any chance there's a majority opinion on which one of those three I should see first?
Thanks!
p.s. Best bang for the buck seating recommendations for any or all of the shows is much appreciated. That elusive spot where price and quality intersect.....

I would suggest Maybe Happy Ending, while things are looking better of the 3 it's the least likely to be open when you return. It's very special.

I agree with Maybe Happy Ending.
It has rush lottery and in-person rush. If you can afford it, front mezz I think would be the ideal seat to watch the show.

Definitely MHE. You can use code HAPPYMAIL on Telecharge for good discounts, including (last time I checked) front mezz up to the fourth row, which are great seats for this. Sit as close to center as possible.

You cannot make a bad choice here, all three are unmissable. I too suggest prioritizing MHE - the other two shows are in a very healthy place, box office wise, while MHE is on the cusp of profitability. getting a ticket to it now helps ensure it will make it to Tony contention, whereas DBH and Gypsy aren't going anywhere. But you could see any of these and have a great time.
Try to be as center as possible for MHE - sightlines are an issue on the sides of the house. I sat dead center in the last row of the rear mezz and was fine, though there was one very short scene on a high platform that I couldn't see due to the balcony overhang.

Death, but MHE will likely close because it's not good. Gypsy I have no interest and I won't ever see it.
