If they’re closing, why such a big celebration over ten years on broadway? It seemed to me like they were really trying to promote the show.Are they supposed to pretend 10 years never happened? A celebration of milestone shouldn't stop from happing just a show may close after the fact, unless it announced a closing prior to making it to 10 years.

Probably the fact that he's directing two other shows besides this one this spring. Kind of irresponsible really.Not really--sometimes shows come in based on availability of a house and what the producers want. I bet he probably said that he couldn't direct all three and the producers probably said get a co-director. I mean does he just drop 2 out of the 3 shows. I truly doubt he felt that all 3 shows would come to Broadway this season.

I don't think there is a lack of them, I just believe there is a lack of publicity for them. We always seem to hear that there is always this Director/Choreographer doing a job, and therefore it seems like they're the only ones to exist. Wrong. They maybe do 1/4 of the Broadway shows. I think if we get exposure to a lot of directors and choreographers we may see a lot more good work.

Harvey has mentioned many times that he is dyslexic and for someone who has some good books for a Broadway show is a great accomplishment. I know he has mentioned he has good editors and proofreaders, but still--good for him.

Glen Berger was on Theater Talk many moons ago discussing how Michael Cohl's son recorded everything in order to make a documentary/screenplay and or "behind the scenes" of the show.
