The 1971 revival was a glorious production with incredible orchestrations. I don't know why this couldn't be a big a hit as Forty Second Street. I'd definitely see it.
I saw her two times in Applause and Woman of the Year. She was magnificant. Trancendent. Tall and handsome, assured and totally magical. I feel like I was given a gift. She is a true Star!
I saw this show twice because I really enjoyed it. It was fresh, terrific music and performances. Especially from Pamela Issacs (where did she go?) and Lillias White. Great fun.
I totally disagree. Linda Lavin knocked "Broadway Baby" out of the park. She's a real pro. Along with the woman who sang "One Last Kiss" they were the best of the pastice singers.
