Re: SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS - Broadway (Barrymore) - Paulson, Roberts & Rudd

Jordan Catalano said: "You can view the dates on Telecharge right now. Oddly, they don’t have any shows listed as performing on Saturdays (although that’ll obviously change) but yes it looks like it’ll be a standard schedule with two shows Wed/Satand matinee Sunday."Thank you. When I looked the other day on Telecharge I didn't see SMS, so this is very helpful.

For those who got the "deal" for SMS, can you please share what the weekly schedule of shows looks like? Is it the usual eight per week, with two shows Wednesday & Saturday and a matinee on Sunday, or something else? And what does the run end? I'm looking ahead to the general onsale and hoping to make some decisions on what date(s) to consider. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bess Wohl’s “Small Mouth Sounds” Broadwaybound?

Got into queue at noon, on Telecharge at 12:03, picked 3 random dates, entire theatre $150. Plenty of seats available. Last 2 rows of mezz were gray, ditto last two rows rear side orch. Guessing those are being held and possibly released cheaper.

From my dim memory as I scrambled to grab 2 tickets: a few in left and right orch rows C&D very far side, about 6 in Row R center left orch which I bought @$35, and then maybe half a row in either S or T, no sure. Nikola premiere pulled from Arena Stage?

Nikola premiere pulled from Arena Stage?

Sep 8, 2026 — 9:10:49 PM

Nikola was supposed to be in the Kreeger Theatre Oct 2-Nov 29. Are You Now is advertised as being in the same theatre October 17-Dec 6. Sure looks like they've replaced the former with the latter, with apparently no official announcement to that effect. Also, the Prima Facie production that had been announced for Nov 13-Jan 5 now shows up on the subscription page as Jan 8-March 7. We all knew there had been a lot of upheaval happening at Arena, looks like it's not over.

Can anyone confirm this is the website to attempt a purchase for the general public ticket onsale Sept. 9? https://tickets.lincolncenter.org/en/syos/performance/33399

Fred Mason said: "Yes, I did diss him because it’s only encouraging the bad behavior!! I thought it would be 6 or 7, but 9 bucks for a can of ginger ale is truly a scam."This is not "truly a scam." A scam is a dishonest scheme to gain money from someone fraudulently. There is no fraud here. They charge $9 for a soda, your friend voluntarily gave them the money, and they in turn gave him a can of soda. A product was offered for sale, the full price was willingly paid, and the product was deliv...

Re: Julianne Moore in Sarah Ruhl's Faydra

Aug 11, 2026 — 10:37:02 AM

Here's the word directly from the good folks at MTC Audience Services in a reply to my email: "The current run for Faydra is February 2nd through March 21st. We don't have an official date for public onsale - the general ballpark is some time in November, at much steeper prices than our subscriber rates."

rosscoe(au) said: "The email said the only way to get tickets was to be a subscriber."Sorry, no, that’s not what it said. Quote: “This production is expected to sell out. The only way to guarantee your seat is to become an MYC subscriber or patron.”That’s very different. “Expected to sell out.” Of course it will sell out, but not necessarily exclusively to subscribers. Guarantee your seats by becoming a member. Yes, but trying to ramp up member support does not necessarily mean it

Anyone know how long the run is scheduled? Headed up to nyc first week April, hoping against hope it might still be running, although not optimistic.

General onsale for all STC shows began today, 7/24. Today and tomorrow use new code SPECIAL25 for 25% discount. This works only for shows marked "Special Offer" in the "Buy Tickets" drop down menu, the majority of which are evening performances.

"Follies" coming to DC

Jul 22, 2026 — 5:35:44 PM

Two additional points about the presale:1. Even though the code provided above is from Signature, you have use the Shakespeare Theatre website to book tickets. 2. TodayTix is also offering a similar presale without the need for a code. A very cursory look seemed to show that their pricing was similar to STC once all fees are taken into account, although I think at least one of the shows I looked at might have been more expensive overall.

Hana Sharif out as Artistic Director at Arena Stage

Jun 29, 2026 — 4:11:48 PM

Just wanted to point out that three days after the NY Times broke this story on June 26, our alleged paper of record here in DC, The Washington Post (AKA The Bezos Bust), has still not published a word about the change of leadership at Arena. A search on their website for "Hana Sharif" returns two articles from 2023, after it was announced that she had been appointed Artistic Director. This story is unfolding practically in the Post's backyard, yet they are silent even after the Times cleaned...

Gee, how I wish I could click on "Toggle Spoiler Content" to read the answer without having to first "Reply to Message." (I believe this glitch has already been reported on the BWW Tech thread, hoping they can resolve the issue soon.)BTW, this is a great quiz question. I never would have come up with the answer, despite being very familiar with the answer. (Doing my best here to keep this spoiler-safe.)
