Our lottery tickets were emailed day before the show. If you don't receive them, I think you can go to the box office with your lotto info. The ticket email has a place to click to view your ticket. Enjoy the show!

We won lotto and were in the front row on the side. I think 2nd row center would be a better angle to see the show, but for lotto seats, no complaining from us with the side seats! :) The stage is a bit high, but not too too high. You may miss a little when they're further back or a few things here or there, but I think being center close to the stage would be a lot of fun for this musical. Rockefeller Center is a great suggestion. There are many stores by the area of the skating rink area. There is also the NBC store on 6th, at the front of Rock Center. If they're interested in SNL or any of the NBC tv shows, it's fun to look around. Also Christies Gallery is right by Rockefeller and you can see what exhibit is there. Hi! A suggestion is to call the theater the show is playing at and they may have information. You can also try reaching out to the show on Facebook if they have a page for the touring company. I haven't seen the tour, so I don't have specific information, but hopefully one of these options will help. :)

I saw an interview on tv with Nancy and she said the playwright found letters his mom and her penpal had written to each other. He started reading them, but at some point thought it was too personal to continue reading them, but decided to write a play based on that idea of 2 friends writing to each other over the years.

There's a Back to the Future musical announcement on Good Morning America this morning, 3/1.

I'm usually fine with sitting in the last rows and got a seat for Hadestown for the last row. I forgot about how the balcony is in that theater until I got there - it's 2 rows very high next to the lighting booth. The view is pretty angled. The people in front of me leaned very far forward almost the entire show - I got a few seat cushions so I could see better! And some people in the second row of the balcony were also leaning forward. I rushed a few Wednesdays ago and by the time the box office opened, there were about 70 people on line. Get there early and plan to wait for a few hours, but the time does go by pretty quickly and hopefully you'll get tickets! Have a great Birthday day with your daughter!

The Broadway on Broadway concerts were a lot of fun. After Times Square started construction on the new walkways, etc. there was another Broadway on Broadway concert, but I think I read that with everything completed in Times Square there weren't going to be more Broadway on Broadway concerts.
