This was a stunning performance. I had simulcast tickets initially but they called waves of us into the main theater (where the concert was held after the outdoor option was scrapped because of the inclement weather), and we ended up getting seats in the front row. The cast performed the whole show (including the dialogue between songs), with minimal props, and it all felt so special. Such a great story. Love the details here (including that the Gander production uses a real, frozen fish during the "Screech-in"). And, wow, this stat: 146 productions of "Come From Away" are being staged around the world this month alone.

Anyone have any sense of which original cast members will be returning? (Will we see Jenn Colella belting "Me and the Sky"?)

Alison Luff is such a star; I might have to go back one more time just to hear her gorgeous rendition of "That's The Way It Is." Any sense for what's she doing next?

I saw this in La Jolla (and thought it was very good, with loads of potential), but I'm sad that Zachary Noah Piser isn't in this cast. He was a highlight for me, playing and singing the part of the surfer so well. But, obviously, this cast is stacked with talent -- Heidi, Jason Tam, Drew Gehling, Joaquina Kalukango! -- and I'm excited to see what changes have been made.

How expensive would it have been to do this, though? It's not an elaborate set. I'm sort of surprised it couldn't come together for the 25th 9/11 anniversary; the Paper Mill production sold out for much of its run earlier this year. And while Come From Away has sold well regionally, too, I'd think a Broadway return could do quite well for at least a bit.

It's been in development for years, with productions in Montreal and London under a different director, but rooting for them all. It's in fantastic shape now.

One new musical I'd love to see sneak in this spring is Mythic, directed by Kathleen Marshall, which just finished a sold-out run in Cincinnati and is in terrific shape. Word-of-mouth is also strong: I know multiple people who saw it twice in Cincinnati they loved it so much.

But, also, there has to be more to this, right? I can't imagine a relatively known actress would risk care

An admittedly random question, but I'm curious: If you had to pick the most-anticipated new musicals premiering in regional theaters this fall that are likely hoping for a Broadway run at some point, what would make your list?
