Saw the 1st preview last night as well - WOW! I will echo what most here have said that this is in fantastic shape for a 1st preview. All the accolades in the comments before me are correct. Sitting in the 3rd row side Mezz, the sound was a little difficult - mainly understanding lyrics in the bigger brassier numbers. I personally enjoyed Big Fish onstage much more than the movie. The movie is darker in tone. While I'm sure that is the preferred version by most people, I think that it worked well on Broadway.

Anyone hear any more about casting for this? It's less than a month away at this point and so far only the two leads have been announced!

Does anyone know if the procession in Act 2 when Phra Alack gets the Prince to go see his dying father was included in this revival?

Ah okay!Also, do we know why Bernadette's wig is blonde in the taping and grey in all the production photos?Granny's dress is different as well.

Does anyone know if there's a script of this that exists? I would love to take a read. I've recently started listening to the RSC version and feel like it might be better that the Broadway/Tour version!

I saw the OTTC tonight and absolutely loved it!! I knew nothing about the show going in and couldn't have been more impressed! Kristin was phenomenal and even though I was upset that Peter was not going to be in the show, his understudy was incredible as well. I can't imagine Peter playing the role the way James did. Does anyone know if a cast recording of Schoolhouse Rock LIVE exists? I'm going to be doing it soon and the TV show versions are in different keys and have a slight difference in arrangement. I haven't been able to find a recording. I know there are some YouTube videos of the show but I haven't found a killer production to use as vocal reference. So if anyone knew of one of those that'd be helpful too!
