Who else is going to the first preview tomorrow? I'm very excited!
My wife and I are going.

Very curious about the physical production. I so loved the original Robin Wagner sets. Hope this production comes even close.
Yes, please report back!
I'm very curious to hear everyone's thoughts.
I so hope it's a good production.
Whizzer when are you going?
I'll be there Saturday, come rain or come snow.
Tickets were purchased months ago. After this show, we are in for the weekend . No show is worth freezing your butt off for. If others think differently, go for it.
Thanks for yet another incoherent rambling, Roxy.

If Kristin is good and not miscast-ed. I am going to book my ticket to New York. I really want to hear everyone's reviews!
Taz, I had tickets for the original first preview last night, but when that was canceled the earliest I could go was this coming Tuesday.
The score and OBCR both rank very high on my list. I hope they do it justice!
I think the score is an underrated gem and can't wait to hear your thoughts, Whizzer.
The score is absolutely underrated. Why aren't these songs being sung all the time in cabaret acts?
I have an audio after Judy Kaye took over and she cracks me up during "My cigarette is SAVED, my cigarette is SAVED." That song is a comic tour de force. You just know Chenoweth is ready to knock it out of the park.
Planning on seeing this during the summer and am looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. I'm new to the score and have never seen a production and would love to see this. It's been long in the works, this revival, and I hope the wait's been worth it! :)
"Why aren't these songs being sung all the time in cabaret acts?"
Garland's three big solos- "Veronique," "Never," and, "Babbette" are almost never seen, which is shocking. THREE classic comedic solos for women! Granted, they're not written in a style that many younger musical theatre performers are interested in singing. Or able to perform, honestly, since they require much more than technical profiency and fierceness.
Hearing everyone's thoughts before buying tickets. Can't wait :)

I can see it now after a new cast recording comes out... "Kristin Chenoweth sings this song. Who's Madeline Kahn?"
Is Roundabout not selling HipTix for On The Twentieth Century? I keep getting promotional emails about it, and just received one today about previews beginning, but no link to buy tickets, etc.
I was able to try HipTix for it and it seemed to work; I didn't actually purchase them... I just got to checkout to see how it worked since I never used it before. lol.
Good to know, thanks jacobsnchz14! I didn't even try going to the site because they usually advertise it so clearly in their emails, but that was obviously the logical thing to do.
Seeing this April 29th, so looking forward to the reports.
Also looking forward to reports of The Audience, which starts previews tomorrow on Valentine's Day.
I am going on March 13! Night after opening night! I am very excited.
Got a freebee for tonight, it better be good. C'mon Scott, deliver the goods!
I am very curious to hear about the set design for this. I remember hearing in an interview that this is the biggest set to ever grace the stage at the American Airlines.
