Hopefully there will be a whole slum of new ones due to Jason Robert Brown's 13.
SondheimGeek: Is it slightly pathetic that you guys get to be Jedi bitches, and I'm Bitchy the Hutt?
LizzieCurry: No, you're more memorable

oliver stuff is good for boys and girls
and so is some stuff from You're a good man charlie brown
of course annie as well, but i say stay away from it if you can because it can do serious damage to young girls' voices.

-"It's Possible" from Seussical
-"When I Get My Name In Lights" from The Boy From Oz

re: Broadway Kid songs

For songs sung completely by children/child actors:

From Oliver:
"Food, Glorious, Food"
"Where Is Love?"
"Consider Yourself"

From Peter Pan:
"I've Gotta Crow"
"I Won't Grow Up"
"I'm Flying"
"Never Never Land"
"Wendy"

From Annie:
"Maybe"
"It's the Hard Knock Life"
"Tomorrow"
"You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" (most of it)

That's all I have for now.

re: Broadway Kid songs

I'm not sure if you're looking for songs sung by kids or Broadway songs that are age approriate for kids. If you're just looking for listening material, I would suggest "A Year with Frog and Toad," especially if the kid in question is on the young side. Most kids love "Gotta Loada Toad" and "Cookies."

Other suggestions: "Getting to Know You" and "Whenever I Feel Afraid" from the "King and I", "Happy Talk" from "South Pacific", and "Beautiful Land" from "The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd." Plus just about anything from "Sound of Music" and "Peter Pan."
