Some of mine are
- TOO MANY MORNINGS (Follies)
- LOSING MY MIND (Follies)
- BEING ALIVE (Company)
- NO ONE IS ALONE (Into The Woods)
- I READ (Passion)
- LOVING YOU (Passion)
- I LOVE FOSCA (Passion)
- WHERE AM I GOING? (Sweet Charity)
- NOWADAYS (Chicago)
- WHAT WOULD YOU DO? (Cabaret)
- CABARET (Cabaret)
- FINAL SEQUENCE (Sweeney Todd)
I have so many more. These are the songs that just hit the emotional spot for me.
What songs do that for you?
definetly the finale of sweeney, defying gravity (how very pop culture of me), anything shoshana sings, alot of stuff from godspell, as long as he needs me from oliver, I think it puts a good ending to act 1, and alot of other things by sondheim (besides sweeney i mean)

What I Did for Love (A Chorus Line)
Days of Plenty (Little Women)
Maybe I Like it this Way (Wild Party)
Those are three off the top of my head. What I Did for Love is my favorite song of all time emotionally.

LIFE IS JUST A BOWL OF CHERRIES (Fosse)
I AM WHAT I AM (La Cage Aux Folles)
SOMETHING WONDERFUL (The King And I)
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE (Carousel)
WHAT I DID FOR LOVE (A Chorus Line)
Agree with almost all of the above, especially the choices from Passion. I have to say that listening to Pity the Child and Nobody's Side are both emotionally exhausting/satisfying.
Lot's Wife (Caroline, or Change)
I Hate the Bus (Caroline, or Change)

Pity the Child and Nobody's Side are good ones. Also from that show, Heaven Help My Heart, I Know Him So Well, and the I Know Him So Well reprise at the end
"Love, Look Away" from FLOWER DRUM SONG
"Young and Foolish" from PLAIN & FANCY
"Everything's Coming Up Roses" from GYPSY
"This Nearly Was Mine" from SOUTH PACIFIC
And this is only a fraction.
just a note to ljay-
I agree 100% about Where Am I Going and find that it's constantly overlooked and overrated!
you mean overlooked and UNDER rated?

oh wow, there are so many. ummm..
- the majority of Les Mis, but particularly One More Day, Do Your Hear The People Sing,Empty Chairs and Empty Tables, and the Finale. But theres lots of others from it too. That whole show just gives me so, SO many shivers
-SO many songs from Last 5 Years, but particularly If I Didn't Believe in You and I Could Never Rescue You (norbert breaks my heart so. freaking. much)
-RENT. one song glory, without you, goodbye love, I'll cover you reprise, and finale B
-Wicked, For Good. yes, yes, fangirl cliche, I know, but I dont care. That song destroyed me SO MUCH when I was first discovering wicked. I would get SO shaky listening to it
I'm sure im for getting a bunch.. but thats a start!
Make Your Garden Grow - Candide
What More Can I Say? - Falsetttos
These two make me blurt out crying eveytime...

If it's the score of Caroline, or Change, The Light in the Piazza, and/or Parade, then yes.
