I don't know. 20 Sided Tavern had a pretty decent run (even though they were running on Hasbro's dine) and really only closed up shop to take the same cast on tour. But musicals.... yeah musicals are cursed maybe.

I am gonna predict mixed with high praise for the performances and some of the design elements (lighting will be highlighted) but no forgiveness on the book. Overall it will be praised as better than the original but still not great.

OH there is tea on this one.... I just don't know how much to spill. ALLEGEDLY Justin/Onya was making some pretty big demands and threatened to quit if they were not met. So production said "bet" and cut them loose. There might [ALLEGEDLY] be more to and if so I'm sure that might bubble to the surface as well, but this all happened within the last like 72 hours so it was all a last minute breaking point.

Last night was very enjoyable! Is the new book great? No but if I'm being honest last night made me realize that I don't know is Chess NEEDS to have a great book.
