The Music Man when I was in college...I was Maude Dunlop(one of the pickalittle ladies) The director was an idiot. Marion was cast only because she was a pretty soprano who could not act her way out of a paper bag. The Mayor's wife played the part straight and serious...did not find the humor in it. Winthrope was the spawn of Satan who would go around and just hit and kick people cause he felt like it. The choreography was horrbile, we lterally would stand there and do hand movements that went w

great stuff on the forbidden site...I love the cast recording but seeing it live is something else....it tears your heart out more and I also think that Purple Summer is better live especially when they go accapello...it is more emotional

re: Spring Awakening onstage seating?

I sat in CC7 and it was a great experience...I am also glad that I had the cd so I knew what they were singing cause it was hard to hear over the band...but still it was an awesome experience...although next time I see it I want to be in the orchestra

re: Spring Awakening bo vs. Rent bo in 96

Well I got to see the original cast of Rent(I was 1...I was one of the people camping out on the sidewalk for tickets...I wanted to see it after all the media coverage(performances on Rosie,GMA,Today, and they even did a piece on it on 20/20) and listening to the soundtrack over and over..It spoke to me and many people between the ages of 18-40 dealing with many of the issues...I think Sprng Awakening needs to have a huge media blitz, it needs to g

actually I think the people in the front row had a better shot of being spit on then the people on stage

I agree you really do see EVERYTHING...sitting on stage was one of the coolest things....I sat in seat CC7 and John Gallagher sat next to me alot and in the beginning Skylar and Johnathon B Wright sat next to me....if you can get stage seating I really reccomend it,and you can't beat the price either...I also have been listening to nothing but Spring Awakening since I saw it...

I sadly was in section CC so I missed the nice veiw, but my seat was still awesome and our section of people were very cool...we commented about the usher and at the end we all looked at eachother and said how we didn't want to get up...we also didn't know if we were allowed to get up...now I have been listening to the soundtrack non stop...I didn't get to see lauren though..her understudy went on, but she was good

nothing funny...although there were teenage girls across the way from me and Mr Groff sat next to them and they were in awe...and then the love scene happened and they got an even better veiw...their faces were priceless

no he was in the house and yes whatyouown he was annoying...has anyone sat on stage and had to deal with this one usher who was very intimidating when he was talking to you about the rules of sitting on stage? when everyone on my side got in their seats they looked around and asked if we were allowed to clap and laugh

I saw this show on the 29th during the matinee and I got to sit on the stage...it was so awesome...one of the most unique experiences I have had watching a show...I was on the left side of the stage and got to sit next to John Gallagher....I have to go see this show again...the only weird thing that happened was during the scene where Melchoir beats Wendla a man in the audience started to laugh...what the hell???
