Is this the 7th show in the Roudabout's membership package?
Steven Pasquale + Alex Timbers =
I've always been curious about this show. It's about time!
I was just wondering what Alex Timbers was up to the other day as he has become my favorite director these days. This is great news!

Do you think they'll offer Hiptix for this?
Roundabout has HipTix for everyone production (except in the Black Box because those are $25 anyway). I don't see any reason to think they won't for this.

Yes, this was the "to-be-announced" show
This just shot to the top of my "Most Anticipated Shows of the Season" list. PERFECT casting, perfect choice of director. I'm definitely purchasing a ticket to the first night of this one, Hiptix or otherwise.

Is it possible that the show will extend? I'm coming to town a few weeks after the scheduled end.
Now this is exciting news!
I just happen to be coming to NYC at the beginning of April to see 1776 at Encores. Perfect timing.

Although a fan of both Kevin Kline and Barry Bostwick, I somehow never saw this show. With news of Pasquale's casting, I'm now doubly brimming with anticipation. Yessss!
Funny I suggested this show for Jake Gyllenhaal in an earlier thread. Steve is perhaps the most versatile Broadway musical theatre star of his generation. I am sure he will be wonderful for he always is.
I adore this show. For those who don't know it, Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone did it together, when the were very young.
Here are Kevin Michael Murphy and the irrepressible Jennifer Ashley Tepper giving an overview of the show at one of their early editions of If It Only Even Runs a MInute. After they talk about the show, Jo Philbin sings the song "Sleepy Man":
And here the same song, sung by herself
.
I don't think it is the most challenging role Steven has ever been offered but I am sure he will belt out his numbers with chilling effect and turn in a Tony nominated performance.
It's off Broadway, isn't it? I thought I read that.
Yeah, it's at the Laura Pels, so no Tony nomination possible.
Has anyone heard of any additional casting for this?
