I was expecting someone a little more plump for Cogsworth, but I really cannot complain about this choice at all. I'm hoping we hear the casting for Lumiere soon and I pray they don't mess it up.

Who would want to see Biggs make an a** of himself anyway. That's all he's been known for lately.

I didn't think this show would ever close because it was popular with tourists. However, it had an excellent run. Regional productions will probably happen soon.

Great week for Les Miserables, Finding Neverland and Aladdin. The Heidi Chronicles is really struggling. That does not bother me too much since it means that people are not interested in seeing Jason Biggs, who is just bland and robotic in all of his work.

I do not know how much Imelda Staunton, Lesley Manville, and Juno Temple were involved during the scenes in Maleficent where they were CGI pixies. I remember Staunton saying in an interview that they did not work much with Jolie since all of their characters scenes were in CGI. They only filmed one scene with Elle Fanning and that was when they were in their human form. Maybe the actors in thsi film will do some motion capture work, but I have not heard anything about that yet.

Tomorrow I'm hoping not to see or hear any bad April Fool's jokes about the casting of Lumiere and Cogsworth. I'm really looking forward to this movie and the idea of someone awful playing those parts makes me scared.

I'm looking forward to this way more than 'Dumbo'. The story has plenty of action and adventure and ancient China looks majestic on screen. I hope they get Ming-Na Wen to play Mulan's mother.

This will be interesting. I knew they would choose this show especially since 'Empire' has become a hit on TV. I standby with Queen Latifah playing Evillene and Keke Palmer playing Dorothy. Tituss Burgess would be an excellent choice for the Lion. Jennifer Hudson would be a perfect Glinda, but she's doing 'The Color Purple' around the time this show airs. Wonderfulwizard11 is right. Since Jennifer Hudson is doing 'The Color Purple' on Broadway I do not think she will have time to do this unless she makes a special appearance like Minnie Driver did in 'Peter Pan Live'.

I've never been a fan of the film adaptation of 'The Wiz'. However, I am willing to give a live televised performance a chance. I've never seen the musical on stage before, so it would be a new experience. Jennifer Hudson would be a brilliant Glinda. I think Queen Latifah should play Evillene. Plus, Keke Palmer would make a perfect Dorothy.
