Rocky Horror Show Revival Cast

Oct 29, 2025 — 1:15:20 PM

Jordan Catalano said: "All in all, it just appears to be standard Studio 54 seating which means large parts of this huge house won't hear the others when they cross shout. Just on paper right this minute, it sounds like a mess to me. I mean, if the cast on stage (who have mics) are responding to people up front (who don't), the audience upstairs or even in different parts of the orchestra will have no idea what people are laughing about or what cast responses even mean if they do go back and ...

BROADWAY DISCOUNTS

All So Ozmopolitan said: "Matty, yes you can purchase Broadway Week tickets at the box office w/o fees! I visited three on Tuesday and they were all ready to apply the promo code once I asked for Broadway Week tickets."Thank you! I actually just went to the box office shortly after posting my message. But you are correct: I was able to score Broadway Week tix no problem. I got Sweeney Todd tickets. They didn't have any pairs at the regular price (not interested in that $125 upgrade) so I boug...

Elton John & Jake Shears’ TAMMY FAYE to hit the West End this fall

Aug 27, 2022 — 4:16:27 PM

Thanks, imeldasturn & lilpunkin! You've managed to cool my jets & convince me to hold out for the inevitable transfer. I'm all for a bigger production with ironed-out kinks anyway. But of course if it turns out to be a colossal bomb & closes at the Almeida I'll never forgive myself!! :P (Still kicking myself for passing up the Spice Girls musical when I was in London a while back! And on the Elton front, I also regret missing Lestat when it was here on Broadway.)

Elton John & Jake Shears’ TAMMY FAYE to hit the West End this fall

Aug 25, 2022 — 5:09:44 PM

I know she's not for everyone, but I'm actually a big fan/admirer of Tammy Faye. I was initially drawn to the camp factor, but I think she's a complicated, fascinating woman. (Wasn't crazy about the movie but I'm happy she's getting more attention.) I'm also a big fan of Elton John and Jake Shears. (And very curious about James Graham's involvement.) So this show is somewhat of a must see for me. I'm strongly considering going to London to catch this at the Almeida but the dates aren't super ...

Clue at the Paper Mill

Jan 29, 2022 — 9:24:52 AM

Is this the same Clue that premiered at the Bucks County Playhouse a few years back? If so I saw it. I wouldn't call myself a fan of the movie but I got tickets b/c my boyfriend is a huge fan. He seemed to enjoy it. I thought it worked well enough on stage but I don't have any strong connection to the source material. The humor just isn't my cup of tea. https://dcmetrotheaterarts.com/2017/05/10/review-clue-stage-bucks-county-playhouse/https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Photo-Flash-Whodunit...

Patti/Katrina - Refunds?

Jan 21, 2022 — 6:03:43 PM

On the subject of cast absences, does Matt Doyle have any scheduled absences coming up? Anyone know? My friend thought he heard of one coming up but couldn't recall any details. I know he's not above the title & therefore his absence wouldn't warrant a refund, but I was just looking forward to catching him in the role. (I have tickets to an upcoming performance but I am allowed to exchange two more times.)

is anyone winning hadestown or moulin rouge lottery tix

Jan 13, 2022 — 6:09:37 PM

Has anyone won the Moulin Rouge lottery lately? Just wondering where the seats have been located. (I know they used to be obstructed view but that was also pre-pandemic.)After entering pretty regularly for the past couple years, I finally won for tomorrow night's show... but something came up and I can no longer make it! Of course. Still though... before I restart my ritual of entering again & again I just thought it'd be nice to know where the seats have been located.

CAROLINE, OR CHANGE Begins Previews 10/8/21

Like 20 minutes after I posted about not getting the original batch of Access10 tickets! Oh well I guess I wasn't meant to be! At least there's HipTix!

The run isn't selling well and I don't think it has the same buzz around it when it was coming over from London. While the Access10 tickets have always been in the mezz of that horrible theatre they were at least more center. For reference my original tickets before cancellation was LL102."Yeah I think my Access10 tickets pre-pandemi...

Caroline or Change Pre-Sale

Jul 8, 2021 — 11:38:49 PM

I was wondering if they would do another $10 sale for the first few previews, as they used to do with all their shows. Bu I seriously doubt it.I had a pair of $10 tickets for last March but of course the shutdown happened a few days prior. (We were refunded rather than given the chance to rebook, naturally.)

This might be a really stupid question but what are the odds Roundabout brings back the ACCESS10 sale??I'm just sore about having to give up my $10 Caroline or Change tickets last year. Wonder if they'll be reinstating that program. (I'm not holding my breath but hell, maybe it's already underwritten.)

The Inheritance or Slave Play?

Dec 2, 2019 — 3:41:13 PM

Oh sorry-- I didn't realize this post was from a few weeks ago & that you already saw The Inheritance Part 1.Welp. Glad you enjoyed it. Here's hoping you like Part 2 just as much.

The Inheritance or Slave Play?

Both of these shows were hugely disappointing to me. I was looking forward to both of them a great deal.Have you considered The Gazillion Bubble Show instead?Kidding. But I would maybe say Slave Play only b/c you can see it all in one shot. It's like 1/5 the length of The Inheritance & you'll only have to waste money one on ticket instead of two. :P

Will Little Shop Extend?

bekk99 said: "Heard from a theater staff member they are trying to extend with Gideon."Oh good. I was hoping for this. I didn't make it to the theater to try for lottery during his brief run. (I had already seen it with Groff.) Was hoping that they would just extend the run & get him to take over for Seymour, since I'm sure Groff's availability is more limited. Fingers crossed.

But not this one. Ack."I mean if you want to see it you should see it. I will say, based on the London reviews I seem to be in the minority. Although the friend I went with had similar feelings to mine. (Actually he enjoyed Part 2 more. I didn't care for either.)

The Inheritance - Previews

Saw Parts 1 & 2 this week. Maybe it’s a case of not living up to the hype but add me to the chorus of disappointed folk. I found it saccharine, meandering & overall dull. I'd go into detail but I think Kad & clever2 did a much better job of articulating my feelings on the show. I am in total agreement with them. There's a decent show in there somewhere but it's being smothered by the bloated soap opera full of rather unlikable characters. Majorly disappointed. And truly stupefied by the London...

Red Bucket Follies Collections

Nov 4, 2019 — 10:59:53 AM

Oh wait one more question... perhaps followtheneon will know the answer to this...If I swing by Little Shop this week or next, do you think the items will be signed by Jonathan Groff or Gideon Glick? I just noticed Gideon starts his run tomorrow. And nothing against Gideon, btw! In fact I am hoping to see him in the role sometime during his run. I would just prefer Jonathan's signature since that's who's on the poster, etc.

Signed windowcards were $200 as mentioned above. Signed playbills were $50. I don't see why they wouldn't allow people to come in and purchase. It doesn't hurt to ask.
