Just part of the daily depressing "Unfortunately, you did not win a chance to purchase " emails I get but I'm not seeing messages anyone showing that anyone is winning.
Yes, just not us. And Can Can seats, too:

Hundreds of people enter for what...maybe 2 dozen tickets? And since MOST people want two tix, there are like 15 winners?
The odds are not good.

I'd imagine that thousands of people enter per performance. I also have a theory that only 2 tickets per show are usually designated, but Moulin does seem to have more. But I can't imagine Hadestown having more than 2.

I sat in box A for rush at Hadestown a couple weeks ago and the two women behind me won lottery seats. So it does happen! But like the person above me said, I would be shocked if they gave out more than 5 or so seats, since that’s all they give out for rush.
Yes, I'm sure the number of entrants easily hits a thousand. I was just trying to simplify. Even if only 1k people entered, only 2.5% would win if there were 24 individual winners.

I just won the Moulin rouge lotto today for tomorrow nights show, I’ll let yall know how the seats are

People should be aware that no show needs to offer any lotto seats at all and not complain.
Congrats! Have a great time!

That's awesome! Gives me hope!
Have a great time.

You don't actually need to complain at all. But, that was just my opinion, and it was not directed at any one person.

I know of nine people that enter these two lotteries every day. I figure a few thousand at least enter.

WINNERS --
Moulin Rouge (On Moulin Rouge Broadway Instagram) The following posted their wins.
Seemingly this past Saturday, two different people won the lottery and got can can seating.
1.One did a nice tableau display of their ticket, program and other things on the cafe table -- to me that's a positive -- no comments.
2. 2nd instagram -- some complaints but found the show amazing.
1. My neck was stiff 2. Almost got kicked in the face. (the almost kicking is the first I've read from those in can can seats unless the person is super sensitive. I think they seem pretty safely away unless they go to the stage's edge -- warning.)
He posted one more Instagram stating they made eye contact.

Except no one WAS complaining, there was one frustrated/disappointed person.

I think Facebook is good. You write up whatever is bothering you. You set the audience to "Only Me." And then hit "Post."

I won the Hadestown lottery a little while ago, and we were Center Front Mezz Row G. Amazing seats and a fantastic show, especially for only 42.50 each!

Just wanted to report to this thread because I also didn’t know where to expect my lotto seats to be for Moulin Rouge (which I saw last night and loved!). They told me I won on Tuesday for last night’s show, the last preview before opening. My friend and I were in Orchestra Row J, Seats 23&25 which were labeled partial view. Honestly it would be hard to figure out if it would’ve been better from the mezzanine far side because a lot of the action was played from the front of the stage so we were able to see almost everything and expressions up close although must’ve been a much different experience than people with center seating. We did miss the beautiful scenery that was straight on. We went up to the mezzanine at intermission to take pictures! All in all, I can’t complain for a $30 ticket!

I was lucky enough to win hadestown for halloween night.
Mezz row D seat 21 and 23. Excellent seats!
I won both over the summer. Hadestown was mezz row E, MR was partial view mezz row C
I’ve won Hadestown twice. From what I’ve been able to tell, they do not have a set amount or even any lottery tickets nightly. It is whatever didn’t sell.

My friend won the Hadestown lottery a few months ago, but I think that was before the Tonys and before it blew up.
