Try Alter Boys off-Broadway. Upbeat, perky, cheap and hilarious. IMHO.

I just purchased front mezzanine center seats for Wicked. Row C. Would appreciate opinions from anyone who has sat in or near these seats.

Sorry I don't have a Top 10 list, but of the shows I've seen, nothing beats: 1) Les Miserables

I'd love to hear opinions from people who have actually seen the current shows. I'll use your answers to help me decide which show to see next. Thanks.

There is no dress code. Whear whatever makes you comfortable, within reason. No sweats or rags or tank tops. Clean jeans, nice tee-shirt or polo, and sneakers are fine. Remember, it's your experience to enjoy, don't worry about looking snappy for total strangers. The actor are on the stage, that's what everyone should be looking at.

IMHO, the reason they aren't posting is because they aren't selling. Bad news on grosses leads to declining interest amongnst the avid theatre goers. They only want to see what is considered the "in" show so that they can brag to their friends that they saw it. I just went to see it last Friday night and there were plenty of empty seats. I was shocked. The reason being is because the show is terrific. I was able to get 4 tickets in the mezzanine - Row B for $150 on EBay which is clearly below...

Thank you all for your input. I just purchased seats for the Christmas Eve matinee at 2PM. I got Row C, front mezzanine center. I was actually quite surprised that I got seats that good considering that those seats seem to be highly sought after. It'll be a long wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I actually bought more seats than I needed. I'll try to sell the extras on EBay around October or November to help defray the the cost of my seats ($130 per, $139 with fees). Thanks again for ever...

Thanks for the input. I was told by a friend that the best seats in the house are in the center front mezzanine. I've been to many shows on Broadway and always found that the first few rows of the front mezzanine always gave me the best viewing experience. I was just wondering if this was the case with Wicked.

I would like to go to see Wicked at The Gershwin Theatre on Broadway. I've heard some horror stories about bad seats with obstructed views. Before I drop $130 a ticket, I would like to hear from people who have been to see this show at this location. Where are the best seats for viewing Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre? Thanks
