It started out $49.50 with $59.50 for SRO and lottery losers, but in August everything was $59.50. Is that a record for most expensive lottery/rush? Chances of winning are very high. Even if you don't win, you could always use a BroadwayBox/Theatermania code at the box office: current offer has back/top orchestra for $59.50, same as lottery and if the house isn't full they will probably move you down closer. I was poking around the app this morning and noticed a new (to me) fee structure. I'm familiar with the standard $7.50/ticket in NYC (or $12.50 if you are forced to pick up from a person standing 15 feet away from Will Call). It used to be $5/10, and their initial marketing was that fees were flat. Now, for tickets priced around $100-150 (not sure where the boundaries are, maybe 100.01-149.99) it's $14.99/ticket. For $150 and above (at least up to 249), the fee is $19.99/ticket. When did this...

For anyone considering rush: I did it this past weekend and you probably need to be there at least 2.5-3 hrs before showtime to have a decent chance to get in. For the Sat matinee, I think they let in 8-9 people, though the rain may have helped with more cancellations than usual. The box office doesn't take names until 1 hr out and is hands-off with line management so you may need to be proactive - invariably there will be someone who insists they should be in spot x despite not checking to s...

Maison Kayser on the south side of Bryant Park is pretty good for French baked goods. A few doors down is Lady M (matcha crepe cake) but it opens later on the weekends. Also open later (11am or noon) is Gabriel Kreuther Chocolates on the other side of Bryant Park (42nd?). Right now the dessert selection is weak (go when it's not summer) but they have excellent/expensive chocolates.

^ I also missed the cut but so did Rebecca Naomi Jones! I guess there isn't a secret actor handshake for admission after all... I think the TodayTix rush ended with the regular run. For the extension they announced on twitter that general rush was $30 cash or credit, limit 2 per person (different from the website).

How are tickets showing up on StubHub already? Do they allow you to buy/sell "futures?" Upthread someone wrote that pickup requires purchasing CC, so how can any of these listings be valid?Also, I vastly underestimated the difficulty of the process today, still waiting for the code fairy.
