Gosh, I would have loved to have seen both Ray Bolger and Bobby Van. (I loved Lara Teeter in the role, wish I had seen him in other things.)

Thanks Besty! It brings back great memories. (Too bad the video doesn't capture the magic that was happening on the stage.) Yeah, it stopped the show when we saw it too. We had a really good audience - lots of energy, applause, laughter. They even gasped (a good gasp) when Dina Merrill walked on stage, because she was so pretty.

I loved the 83 revival! I wish there was a video of the dance number where the ballet dancers were pitted against the tap dancers. It was one of the best numbers I have ever seen on stage.

I can't wait for the reunion show, LOL. I bet Debbie Gibson had no idea how bad Aubrey was trash talking her in every episode.

Anybody watching? I give props to Arsenio for taking on Aubrey. She's a nasty piece of work, and I can't tolerate her crocodile tears.

Anybody watch this week's episode? The best outcome is if Gretchen and Ryan get it on, she gets pregnant, and then Tamryn becomes a grandmother. LOL.

I think the first funeral in part 3 is for the Worcell character, the older guy played by Richard Easton. I can't tell whether O'Byrne is miscast or not well-directed. In any case, I did not think he was as effective in the role as he could have been, though I have yet to see part 3. I am fascinated by everyone's comments regarding the acting of the two plays that have been seen so far. Unfortunately I don't see them until later, so I've been waiting with great anticipation. LI Larry - What made you go see the revival of TRT when you hated the original? Just curious because I loved the revival, but never got to see the original. And the revival didn't have the star power of the original, so was wondering what made you want to revisit it. The original was recorded (audio only), and I managed to hear that. Not sure I would have loved the original based on the recording.

Saw this last night. Bill Nighy was a standout. He's the one you tend to watch when the three of them are on the stage. His performance was effortless.
