I asked this question a couple of weeks ago and no one seemed to have an answer as to what happened to Justina. She has a show on this fall that she may have had to return to early. Doreen was playing the role for a while, but I don't know who is doing it now. Janet Decal's facebook has a picture of her and Andrea and the status reads: "wants her back already!"

What's happened to Justina Machado? Wasn't she going to be in the show until late August? Good news - Doreen is on as Daniela all week!

Cast is very good and still going strong. Audience was having a great time last night. Stage Door was fun. It was our 8th time at the show and the first time seeing Javi. He's doing a fine job as Usnavi. Lin was there too which caused lots of excitement. He signed, posed for pics and then quickly left.

The night we saw the preview screening of the documentary, Mandy, Chris, Lin and the film makers did a Q&A session afterwards. Karen, Seth and the ITH producers and creative team were in the audience. The film makers said there's over 300 hours of footage recorded going back to the off bwy production. Chris said it wasn't always easy having the cameras there. Lin said whenever he wanted something not to appear in the final cut he would start singing songs that he knew they would never get cle...

The documentary was fantastic! It made people laugh and cry. The cast members who were there last night seemed almost speechless when it was over. Set your DVRs. The film makers said there were hundreds of hours worth of footage and all we see in the documentary is 1 hour. The film focuses on about 5 or 6 of the cast members. Two weeks ago, while waiting at the stage door, I asked a cast member if she and the other cast members would start to follow Lin out of the show. She said that many of them had re-signed.

It's Priscilla Lopez doing the announcement right? It sounded like her Friday night. First in English and then in Spanish.
