For those who saw the show, in your playbill, who is listed as understudies? I was looking at Q's website, and it said the ASM was an understudy and one of the ensemble members (Jed Resnick) just had "ensemble" next to his name but not understudy. He's understudied for this show before...does the playbill say he is one?

I see nothing about the understudies. Have they not been cast yet, or did they just not bother to tell us who they are? Hopefully the former...

Oh, God. Today I was texting my friend because I'm trying to plan another trip to NYC. This is someone who I've seen multiple shows with over the past 2 years. I said that I wanted to see Hair and Next to Normal. He asked me what Next to Normal was about, and then said this:
"So when you said Hair, did you mean Hairspray, or is it its own show?"
I have failed at introducing him to musical theatre, if he hears Hair and assumes I mean Hairspray.

Yes, the person I heard that from was one of the female understudies. I'm glad to know that no other parts are being cut!

What about Jed Resnick? I heard that he's leaving the Rent tour this fall, so maybe they offered him a part. And I also heard from someone in the closing cast that they cut some tracks. She was offered a role, then the next day it got cut. ?format=auto&width=600
