confirmed. opens in 3.5 weeks. announced at final show. full review later.
Good for them. It'll do really well there.
I heard this rumor last week. Glad it turned out to be true.
Is the current company moving with the show to New World Stages?
Interesting. That's a great space for the show to go into.
Wow, has a show ever closed on Broadway and then transferred back to Off-Broadway? This is pretty great.

Would they really close a show on Broadway and move at to an off Broadway house?

hmm....
Why?
The producers clearly feel there is still an audience for the show, and that there is an opportunity for further profit in a smaller house?
This just so..... unexpected.
Great news, indeed! Has this ever happened before?

So un expected but I'm really happy. It looks like the prices are staying the same as Broadway $66 and $126
Would they do a lottery at NWS or Student rush?

Yes, it has happened before. In 1980, Billy Bishop Goes to War closed on Broadway at the Morosco and moved to the Lucille Lortel. In 1984, the original 'night Mother closed at the Golden and moved to the Westside Arts Theatre.
