So much for the rants and rumors about the male Gary Coleman.
No Jennifer Barnhart?
She had enough Q for the rest of her life, I'm sure.
I'm imagining there are significant pay cuts.

I don't believe that most (or any) of the cast members knew it was opening off Broadway, which means they probably looked for other jobs when they found out it was closing.
Actually I'm surprised there are a few of the "old" cast members returning.
I loved Jennifer Barnhart and she was more than dedicated, fresh and original everytime I saw it. There were some actors who had recently been hired for their roles and seemed like they were bored of it but Jennifer, who was there from the very beginning, never seemed bored or uninterested. I was surprised she was never given the Kate/Lucy role.(besides understudy).
I can't wait to see what she will be up to next!
No Ann Harada?

It's actually not that bad. According to the posting in Backstage, it's like $900 or so a week. Which isn't too much less than the normal Broadway equity minimum.
Was hoping Rob McClure would still be in the cast, but hopefully he's not doing it because he has something big on the horizon. He deserves to be a real star.

Minimum pay is over $1500 per week on Broadway. That is $600 a week LESS. Over the course of a year that's $31,200 LESS than what they would make on Broadway.

couldn't agree more
And granted any job is a good job in theater, but to take a pay cut of 1/3 of your salary is harsh -- especially when it's for doing the SAME job -- just in a smaller house.
Yes, but it is a helluva lot better than no job at all!

I see nothing about the understudies. Have they not been cast yet, or did they just not bother to tell us who they are? Hopefully the former...

I'm very excited about Seth Rettberg. I was there the first time he went on in NYC and he was fantastic! I totally agree about Jennifer Barnhart - I thoroughly enjoyed watching her throughout the show. Speaking with her afterwards at the stage door, you could tell she really loved doing the show - a really sweet lady.
