Trip to Bountiful: Thoughts
I loved the show. Very gentle, real and moving. Ms. Tyson was amazing. I liked that did not try to be anything that it wasn't. A wonderful night in the theatre.

Ditto to "Most Happy Fella". I love that show. I think "Pippin" and "The Secret Garden" would also be worthy candidates.
FOLLIES Is Closing, Y'all
The only musical that I got to see TWICE in a twenty four hour period!!!!! Simply BRILLIANT in every way.So sad to see it leave;happy to have seen a first rate production of this show. LA is in for a great treat.

Kennedy Center Honors 2011
I thought it was the best ever Kennedy Honors also. Audra singing "Till There Was You" was the icing on the top of a beautiful cake. I really didn't like Patti Lupone's number and yes where was "Glitter and Be Gay"?
Church Musical
I did two musicals in the pulpit of my church. "Godspell" and "Joseph". It was the only time that the church was completely filled with also a balcony. It was a great experience that I will never forget. My third was to be JCS. I could not cast it so I had to wait until I founded my own community theatre group. The show was awesome!!! Best of luck and let me know how it works for you!!

Tyne Daly was an ABSOLUTE joy after "Master Class". Such a GREAT actress!!! Christine Ebersole invited the few of us into the stage door during "Grey Gardens". It was a frezzing January night. Of course, as already mentioned, the cast of "The Normal Heart".
Just back from seeing War Horse Film.
Have not seen the play and looking forward to the film. In the previews it does remind me a bit of "Gone With the Wind" perhaps the cinematography?? I love Williams score also from the bits that I heard. Sorry to be off topic but what other Christmas movies are worth seeing?
