What's Your Dream Role?

Does everyone have a certain dream role? I have tons but my number 1 is Rose from Gypsy ever since I saw it w/ Bernadette on Broadway!
After that its
Annie Oakley from AGYG
Dolly from Helly Dolly
Peter Pan in Peter Pan
Fantine in Les Miz,
Victor/Victoria-Victor/Victoria,
Lilli Vanessi from Kiss Me Kate,
Marian from The Music Man,
Eliza -My Fair Lady,
Grace-Annie,
Calamity Jane from Calamity Jane
Hold Me Touch Me from The Producers!
But my fav roles I've ever played were
Fred(my first dream role) from Once Upon a Mattress,
Bloody Mary in South Pacific,
Aunt Eller in Oklahoma and
Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (As you can see, I'm quite known for the comedic, alto/mezzo roles )

My true dream role is to be CAST in something... and play a chorus,swing,prop whatever...

but if i could pick between many...

Id also love to play a bunch of dramatic roles because I love heavy stuff. I'd also love to be in ***beth (Shakespeare) :)

I agree with Amneris, I will be glad to get any part on Broadway, but if I had to pick my top dream roles they would be:

- The Phantom: The Phantom Of The Opera
- The Beast: Beauty And The Beast
- Count Von Krolock: Either Dance Of The Vampires, or Tanz Der Vampire In Germany
- Alfred: Dance Of The Vampires
- Leo Bloom: The Producers
- Emcee: Cabaret
- Lumier: Beauty And The Beast
- Gaston: Beauty And The Beast

The first male homosexual Amneris. (Can't you picture all these Abercrombie and Fitch models wavin around their clothes while Im shirtless singing? YES!)

Jesus.....Godspell (I'm a lyric baritone. DAMN YOU TENORS!)
The Narrator.....Joseph and the Amazingetc. (I can't believe how sexist directors get over this role. A MAN CAN PLAY IT! And someday, I will be that man. You'll see)

Elise......The Last Five Years (I could be the shadowy figure in the bed next to shirtless Norbert! hehehe)

Baker, Narrator,Witch......Into the Woods (I want to be the Narrator more than the Baker ever since I saw the revival. He had one of the best roles up there. And those of you about to say "THE WITCH IS A FEMALE YOU MORON!" Billy Porter almost became the Witch for the revival so hush!)

If I'm not mistaken, the Narrator in JOSEPH was originally male. There may even be a recording of an early version (the show has many incarnations) with that casting. I remember reading once when the role began to be switched to female, but I have seen very interesting productions with male Narrators.

Yep! The OLC and concept albums of Joseph have male narrators.

Laurie Beechman was the first female Narrator in the US. I can't remember who the first female Narrator was in the UK, but she was a member of the original cast of Les Miz in London.
