I finally got to see the show today.

It was pretty moving. I cried during 'Gliding' and 'Make Them Hear You' and laughed a bit during 'New Music' and 'Wheels of a Dream' mostly because I recalled the Gagtime Segment in my head. What bothered me was the 'Crime of the Century' numbered. Evelyn Nesbit's outfit annoyed me and the choreography was 'eh'. Wonder what it's like with the swing.

Overall the production is wonderful. Definately a must-see.

I love that show. I wish I could see this production of it. I saw the OBC and I saw the scaled-down tour. They were both wonderful. Somebody mentioned Gliding; I love that number. That show even made this bitter ol' person cry.

They need to get more astute critics at TalkinBroadway. The PMP RAGTIME is the cheapest-looking, most poorly lit and gloomiest production of a musical I have ever seen.
