Hey all
I was able to catch a pre-screening of the second episode of HBO's new comedy series "Flight of the Conchords" last week and was surprised and delighted to see Sutton Foster featured as one of the weekly love interests.
The first episode premiers sunday the 17th, you can watch it online @ the link below. It features the girl who played Cher on the Clueless TV show/Snakes on a Plane in this episode.
Its a really funny show a la Campus Ladies/Tenacious D humor with songs and ad-libs.

Just bumping this in case anyone wants to catch the premier episode tomorrow night.
That and it kind of got lost in the TONYs sauce.
I've been in love with Flight of the Conchords since I saw their One Night Stand about a year ago. Since they announced the show, I've been freaking out ... and noticed Sutton on the commercial. I've also watch the ONS about 7 times since it's On Demand.
OMG I was looking forward to watching this show tomorrow night, and if Sutton's going to be on it, I'm even more excited for it!
I don't think Sutton is in tonight's episode.

NO WAY!!! I LOVE them!!
I've already seen the first episode....I need to get HBO again. Can someone record it and put it up on YouTube?
According to IMDB, Sutton is in the episode entitled "Yoko."
As I said in my original post, Sutton was not starring in the premier episode but will be in second (next week's) episode.
Okay. I overlooked the word "second."
She was in it last night - and neither Caitie nor I realized it till the credits ran! We had to rewind it to look again.
The show is freaking hilarious. Last night wasn't as good as the week before (I was singing "the humans are dead" for like three days after it!)
I totally missed it - so mad. Hope it airs again soon.
Like I really needed one MORE reason to love this show. Flight of the Conchords are awesome!
another reason: they have cute accents

According to IMDB, Sutton is in the fourth episode as well. And speaking of broadway people, Luther Creek's in the next (3rd) episode.

Another reason: "Brit" is just ****ing cute

Bumping this thread becasue I finally got to see this show on DVD. Sutton Foster is quite adorable. I didn't recognize her at first in modern clothes, with almost no make-up.
The humor is sort of a combination of Monty Python and dry, New York hipster. The songs are especially funny.
Hah...My brother and I bonded over our love for this show. I have been a Conchords fan for while and their show didn't disappoint in the least.
And as for Sutton...she's got the boom.

Oh my God!! I knew that I recognized her from somewhere! My friends and I watched this show all summer, and I still couldn't figure it out! And none of them knew, cause they aren't really big on theatre. I'm so ashamed!!!

"Yoko Koko Koko Yoko" is, easily, in my top 10 2007 TV moments. That they were able to make it 1 take keeping a 100% straight face while reciting that scene is a feat in and of itself.
