Except Alice isn't going anywhere. She will play that role until they pry her out of the theater. I doubt I would give it up -- what role could EVER be better than Diana??

Don't get me wrong as I totally agree about Alice. She deserves to stay as long as she wants. If she were to exit though, I think Marin is the right age, and she has the pipes and the chops to pull it off.

Alice will be taking her "Diana" on tour this fall.

They seem to be casting the replacements younger, so I wouldn't expect Mazzie (as good as she'd be) to play the role.

Agreed, Jordan. On top of that phenomenal voice, she's a wonderful actress. I'd love to see her in a show customized for her talents.

She was seen for Desiree the first time around, but the producers very wisely passed. I would be interested in seeing her in the role though.

Whenever I watch her in the Lincoln Centre production of "Camelot", I think to myself, "Why isn't this woman on Broadway in a fantastic show that was written for her?"

Marin and Jason were Lizzie and Starbuck together in Pasadena (IIRC) a few years ago. That's something I wish I'd seen.

Personally, I'd see Marin in just about anything. If LEND ME A TENOR gets a replacement cast, she'd be a great Maria.

She would be good in so many things like a ALNM but N2N um no she would be not so nice she is a good singer but not a rock singer
