Crap, crap, crap. That's 2 of the 4 NBC shows I watch displaced. (The other is Prime Suspect, which became surprisingly solid after a shaky first few episodes.)

I'm very upset by this news. I didnt expect to get a S4 but wanted S3 to at least go out on a high note. They better finish airing the rest of the season at some point. We derserve that!!!

Apparently this is a hiatus and not a cancellation for Community - sources have been saying that all 22 episodes will be filmed and aired. Prime Suspect is another story - if it doesn't pick up by the time its current order runs out that'll probably be the end for it, which is a shame.
So...it's not the end. Yet.
NBC is a mess.
Prime Suspect did get canceled, a real shame since it was the only drama procedural I stuck with (and pretty much did a solid job all around) but it really was not right for Thursday nights. Why it could not be paired with SVU still makes me scratch my head.
Community was dead in the water directly going up against The Big Bang Theory. I am surprised it did not immediately move into Chuck's spot on Friday, at least that would have been a sign to fans that this was probably going to be it.
Prediction: I think it takes the spot of the comedy based on Chelsea Handler on Wednesdays 8:30 to 9. There were a lot of creative changes made to fix it since the initial pilot and the previews did not look good where it seemed salvageable. Shame, the source material was good but they made a terrible choice of making it a 3-camera.

I don't think any episode could have topped Chaos Theory but this episode was brilliant. Even Chang in the episode hit the right notes.
"Some flies are too awesome for the wall"
Jeff as Dean Pelton was brilliant. Great cameos by Luis Guzman and Jeff Garlin.

Gonna say...I have a crush on Jim Rash.

That was some of the best acting I'd ever seen out of Joel McHale, too - not just the wonderful Dean impersonation, but the nervous breakdown as well. "I only dreamed I had hair, and now the bald man is awake." :P
Such a great episode this week!!
apparently, since the news, the ratings have risen slightly. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope that this brilliant show will triumph and come back. It makes me happy every week!

you guys watch THE SOUP? i love how Joel McHale and Alison Brie kept making fun of NBC putting the show on hiatus!
The soup was hilarious this week! I just love Joel McHale. He was awesome as the Dean. Great episode.

And that is why this is the most brilliant show EVER.

I can't help myself, anytime something bad happens since Chaos Theory I say, "This is the darkest, most terrible timeline."
This last episode was an absolute favorite for me. Rash was fantastic, McHale was fantastic. It hit so many of the sweet spots I love so much about the show. (Which incidentally seem to be the same spots those who don't like the show hate so much...)

This is a good article, but I fear it's just preaching to the converted.
And if you're gonna stick around, penguin, you can call me anything you want.
NBC Should Reconsider Community Hiatus
Another great episode.
