We are home for the night with Veuve and another lesser in reserve! Going to Mariano's, might do mussels. Very rough year for me in many aspects. I assume rock bottom as I am very confident into 2014.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ADULTS!
brd, what's the name of the place that makes the pizza in a bowl. I need to go back to Chicago just for that!

I believe you are referring to http://chicagopizzaandovengrinder.com/menu.htm
I used to mock Mrs. Brd as a joke, "It's like a pizza, but it is in a pot!"
Very tasty!
That's it! LOVE IT!!!
Happy, Healthy New Year to you, Mrs.brd and the C's

'Morning! Still "off" but heading into the office this morning to get ready for second semester. I figure I'd better get it done today before the snow arrives.
Snow? I haven't heard anything about snow coming.
Morning! Happy Jan 2nd!
Still quiet at work which scares me.

Because of this expected storm they changed the wake until Sunday and burial for Monday.
I heard this is the best topic thread on Broadwayworld. Is everybody ready for the snow? Bring it on!
PIP?!?
Is it really you! Happy, happy new year, old friend!
You just put a super big smile on my face! So rare that I stop by BWW at night, so something special must have drawn me here. Happy 2014!
Working from home today. The boss had me leave at 3:30 yesterday to beat the onslaught of anything. I would love a real, old fashioned snow day. without having to use a vacation day. Ah, well. At least I didn't have to try and drive in this mess.

I'm at home, as well, though I'm not working unless you consider coffee and oatmeal work. It's too damn cold to go out - 18 degrees with 25 mph winds that bring the chill factor down to -2. I have an electrician coming sometime between 11am and 1pm (ha ha)so I'll just stay in and keep the house nice and warm for him. It's the least I can do.
Mornin'
I doubt anyone is going to show up today.
It snowed, ya know.
I had the day planned as a vacation day (using up a few from last year), but am now working from home.
A few of the team members really were in areas where commuting was just impossible, and one or two were just wimps... so, instead of a day without being glued to the blackberry and laptop, I'm now trying to cover for those who aren't able to get in and didn't think to bring files with them.
But, I'm in sweat pants and having another cup of coffee, so it's not that bad.
I keep looking at my tree, thinking I should really get started on taking it down...
It's really pretty now that the sun has come out.
Hope everyone stays warm and safe!
