Here's the thing. I didn't like the Candide or Camelot concerts. The Camelot was, indeed, bizarre.

But his Sweeney concert? Thrilling. His Passion made me appreciate the show in an entirely different way and his Company concert is the most persuasive case for the show I've ever seen. And, of course, there's A Class Act, which was really lovely, and had a few stunning moments (particularly when the Kleban character came up with the lyrics to At the Ballet). I truly don't understand the blanket hate thrown at his direction.

Son of--I had a much more mixed reaction to Passion and Sweeney as you, but I will admit I thought Company was about as perfect as a semi staged version of a musical could be.

As lovely and talented as Kelli O'Hara is, I suppose I was hoping for someone not so obvious. Very excited for Nathan Gunn though!

I wasn't impressed with him in Camelot, but that whole production was miscast from top to bottom so I'm willing to give him another chance in this.

This is the biggest disappointment for casting I've seen in ages. I'm glad I didn't get a ticket. It's boring casting.

I don't mind an older Billy. It's an ancient Julie I can't stand. She is way too old (not to mention boring) for this role.
