jacobsnchz14,
I have no clue how to get that demo, but if anyone can give me more information please PM me.

I wish that they would have focused the show's image on the big skyline. I just don't really like the pink legs.
I like the skyline images better but the legs work, I guess.

The demo CD is included as part of the discount mailer they've sent out. I received mine in yesterday's mail. If you're on any theater-related mailing list, you should be receiving one shortly.
What's happening with Felicia Finnley? She isn't playing Cheryl Ann on broadway?
I finally had a chance to pop the cd in my computer. LOVE IT! I'm getting chills listening to Kerry. I'm most excited about this show. I need a new favorite show!

If anyone with the new demo CD is feeling kind and wants to help out a Londoner who really wants to hear the songs then please PM me! Have tickets for June and can't wait so anything I can get my hands on will be much appreciated!

And if someone could help out a certain Canadian as well... PM me perhaps? I've worn out my tracks from the Seattle promo.

The role was essentially cut. Rachelle Rak will be playing what's left of it as a step out role from the ensemble.
Is she doing the song you gotta pay for love?
I believe that song was cut. Which is a good sign, as it was a pretty weak number in my opinion.

That song and the scene it was a part of has been cut.
I liked that song/scene.
I believe the Cheryl Ann character is now featured in the number "Doctor's Orders."

The marquee is up. I can't wait for this spring.
If I was home in March I'd definitely go on March 7th but ah I'm in upstate NY for school! April break can't come soon enough! Any word on a cast recording?
Don't know anything about a cast recording, but unless if is a total bomb, I don't see why not
Seriously can NOT wait for this!
Got the CD in the mailer today and just downloaded those 4 songs. I read most of this thread, but am pretty unfamiliar with the buzz, per se....only saw the movie, which I loved. Any one who would like this DEMO, just PM me w/your mailing address. The Demo CD sounds REALLY tinny! and I can't say yet, esp. out of context, whether I like the tone of the music. I kinda liked BUTTER OUTTA CREAM the best, but the 4 tunes sounded a bit like second rate motown, or Jerry Herman wannabee. Could be wrong, though. I found the movie very intrinsically dark and disturbing, yet this DEMO sounds swingin' 60's upbeat....ah, well...
Also, Kerry Butler's tune FLY FLY AWAY sounded pretty bad to me. A gospel spirit with no soul!?
Still, I would see ANYTHING w/NORBERT, good, bad or ugly!

Keep in mind that this is a promo/demo. Also, I thought Kerry's Fly Fly Away was great. I know others did too. They should have out Goodbye on the promo. Aaron is fantastic with that song.
Steven 22: (Did you see the show out of town?)
I think the quality of the sound should've been a whole lot better, even for a demo, since it's being used as a HUGE marketing tool...
The promo had these songs:
In LIving Color
Jet Set
Butter outta Cream
Fly, Fly Away
Didn't see the show exactly..but I noticed that on the promo/demo the ensemble didn't sound great. And the orchestrations could be changed. The core elements sounded great, I think.
What are the "core elements" (to you) steven 22? Not that familiar how this show was developed.....
I'm no music pro but I thought the tune, the voices, the character were all in the songs.
Yeah, but NO Chris Walken!! (lol.)
