It's ok...I'm a grammar nazi so the little things tend to tick me off...

I think everyone here should understand the business of Broadway by now. You may all think in our tiny little world of Broadway geekiness that Kristin Chenoweth has and always will have the clout to headline in a show. However, she and her agent/manager are savvy enough to realize that the bigger a name she has in TV/film, the more likely she is to headline on Broadway for many more years. She would be a fool to give up this opportunity. Concerts can be rescheduled, and if you are honestly a fan, you will realize that just because she's not coming to your hometown when you wanted her to, doesn't mean she's a horrible selfish greedy pig.

I love her. She was magnificent in WICKED and nicer than necessary when I met her. Humble and warm hearted, she squeezed my hand for a long time and chatted when I'm sure she would have rather been leaving the theatre to get home.

She's a enormous talent and a great star.

I don't think I called her a greedy pig...

I thought there would me more people on my train of thought.

Sorry, obviously us "kids" don't know anything.

You are actually in college? Studying Music Business?

And you're crying about this? Geez...I think you need to change your major.

Look at the name of your major..Music BUSINESS. Is it called "Music Industry That's All Rainbows and Sunshine"? It's a BUSINESS. She is conducting BUSINESS. Just because she cancells her concert, you go crying? And trashing her? You are lacking the maturity needed for this industry.

You indeed have a lot to learn about the business and what's really important.

Glebb, I agree with you, that's what sparked the thought. I'm not even going to go any further with this...I'm making enemies.

I'm sorry Mr. Tuttle, I should probably bow down to you. I could take the time to explain to you why in my BUSINESS yes, BUSINESS classes they would encourage an artist to stick to commitments but you're just going to jump down my throat AGAIN so I'm not going to bother.

also, please read the original post, there were no tears shed...

Do you think we'll ever see her back on Broadway or will she stick to the movies and such that put more cash in her pocket? Don't get me wrong- I adore her work, she's amazing. However, it's frustrating when she cancels 5 shows one week, and a mini tour the next...

Discuss?

Let's see...you go criticizing a performer for working but cancelling your concert...you say someone is egotistical and getting too big for her boots...and you want us to discuss this because you "thought" there were more people who shared your opinions.

You really don't know what you want, do you, kid?
