Mister Matt---how could you possibly compile and have all that information at your fingertips?

I say that in awe of your devotion and love to all things theatre.

Thank you for helping me remember a lot of those forgotten shows and times long ago.

Mister Matt said: "Weird...they appear in bold on my PC. Maybe it looks different in the app or something."

I'm on a PC, too. Maybe it can be chalked up to the technical idiosyncrasies of this site.

"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

The bold words read fine as bold on my MacBook Air.

Nice piece of work, Mr. Matt.

In 1911 they never ran out of opening night parties to attend.

Perhaps this piece is a bit harsh. Within the past two seasons, we’ve had DEH, CFA, Great Comet and The Band’s Visit. It’s really, really hard to create a successful new musical and among those four, three have been hits while the fourth achieved much acclaim not only on this board but elsewhere. It’s true that this has been an unusually weak season, but the same could not be said with respect to last season (which also included Groundhog Day, for what it’s worth).
