If I recall correctly, the worst reviews that Cabaret got was when Brooke did it. She is a mediocre actress in a bad show, who, unfortunatelt replaced an amazing and versatile actress, still in a bad show.

Nice to be told to go to hell - which is where I would have been had I wasted money on B.S. - I mean Brooke Sheilds in Wonderful Town.
P.S. The best I ever saw of Brooke Sheilds was when she was being parodied in Forbidden Broadway (It sucks to be Her!")
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Either that, or a town in Michigan.
I'd certainly hope there are brighter stars than Brooke Shields on Broadway. She may have the name, the celebrity, the popularity, but she's by no means one of Broadway's greatest.
"Oh, good. After all, I can rub my stomach and pat my head at the same time, and I can do it with my eyes closed while whistling 'The Entertainer.' That's rhythm for you."

When someone states a point of view, people tend to realize that it is their opinion, whether it has 'I' in it or not. Sorry if you don't realize this.

the latter is the more offensive one. But, it's a good thing I don't believe in Hell, otherwise I'd be making a bigger deal on the hypocrisy behind these posts.
