This didn't offend me and I am easily offended by people doing blackface because, as I said here before, my parents actually did minstrel shows which is shameful enough but par for the course for 40s and 50s performers.

Laura's a nice girl, she's talented, loved her in Hairspray.
Yes, people DO call Eddie Murphy a bigot but they completely miss that he is a black person making satirical commentary on the dominant (in every sense of the word) culture he lives under. THAT'S the difference.

Her face is not as dark as it was in I-Be-Weave Salon. She makes a lengthy reference to being multi-racial.
